Everyday is starting to get real hectic for the Clump family. Abraham brings in most money by painting, and thanks to his latest masterpiece selling for nearly §2.000 they were able to expand the house with a new story. Sylvia grows and sells crops, which also brings in some money.
Neither of them have chosen their main skill yet, and it should be done because their top skills are rising. Abraham's top 3 is Painting (8), Parenting (6), Fitness (3). With his Bodybuilder aspiration, he really should pay more attention to sports, but playing at the basketball hoop doesn't build skills that fast.
Sylvia's top 3 skills are Parenting (7), Cooking (6), Gardening (4). Her aspiration is Freelance Botanist. I'm not sure what strategy would be smarter, but whatever skill these two choose, also their descendants gen 1, gen 2 and gen 3 must level out. I think it's smart to pick skills that most sims would learn anyway, like parenting which most parents will build regardless of personal interests. But both founders can't choose the same skill, one of them must pick something else...
It's more likely that Sylvia reaches Parenting level 10 first, because Abraham spends as much time as possible painting.
Painting might be a good skill for all descendants, too? It's pretty easy to build skills and it is well paid. Besides, they will be able to paint portraits.
Sylvia is the one cooking most, that's because she is interested in learning recipes that take use of what she grows in their garden, but also because the children suddenly get hungry. I never planned for these old fashioned roles.
The family has got a 4th child, little Donna. Fiona seems to love her sister, and after the extra floor was added and the twin boys Rudolph and Sammy moved upstairs, Fiona and Donna will share their brothers' old room. At least for now, because there is an extra room waiting for the girls upstairs, too.
Rudolph and Sammy started school, and they both brought home their first school project! It looks quite interesting, and Sammy loves working on it. Because it takes up much space (2x3), Rudolph will wait to get started on his project.
They got bills just before they decided to add the extra rooms upstairs, and then most appliances broke down, too. It's always risky to repair a fridge while standing on wet floor, so Sylvia does her best to assist. In case of a fatal accident I couldn't risk losing the mom, so dad had to repair that thing... If they could afford it I'd rather order a repair service.
Here's the extra floor. Not big, but with a spacious room for Rudolph and Sammy, and one extra room where Abraham can paint while waiting for Fiona and Donna to start school. Then they might get this room.
Finally - some great news! Donna grew up and she has the perfect DNA! Dad's black hair and mom's green eyes! Unfortunately I had to give her the toddler aspiration before seeing her looks, and because I was getting a bit bored with all those selections, she turned out Silly. Hm, so the next generation heir will bring experience from a silly toddler, might be interesting...
