Bjergsens Shock Divorce

(Year 230, Fall) There were some rumors last year and now it is official; Clara (70) and Bjorn Bjergsen (74) are divorcing! The couple that used to be seen as Windenburg's perfect alliance, has decided to split up despite their relatively high age.

- Yes, we are splitting up, confirms Clara G. Bjergsen. - It's not something totally out of the blue, but now that both our daughters are grown ups, it's easier to take action. We are grateful for having a long and stabile marriage, but we always valued having our own career projects, and now we realized that we grew less dependent on each other.

Welcome «Moon Lisa»

(Year 230, Fall) This Fall a very rare exhibition opened at Casbah Gallery in San Myshuno. The famous and mythical painting «Moon Lisa» is currently touring Mazaloom kingdom, and this is her first stop. On opening night a high number of citizens flocked to the gallery to get a glimpse of the strictly guarded masterpiece that even made it to the national stamps of the Empire of Snorthia..

It is the first time Snorthia allows their national jewel to leave the empire, that alone is quite an event. No wonder people grabbed this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Occasionally I create posters for my game. It will normally feature characters and situations from my universe, such as all the contestants from the Bagged Talent Show, or posters from Judith Ward's new movie.

You can now have all these posters in your game, too! They might have some deco value even if you don't relate to the story behind them. Here's movie posters, TV-show posters, and a few posters from my previous political election. They might be good in bedrooms, offices or public builds such as cinemas or community centers - in the new Rec Center even.

Baby Boom

(Year 230, Fall) It's baby boom in Mazaloom kingdom, and to celebrate the arrival of numerous new citizens, let's take a quick tour to greet some of them!

Baby expert Heidi L. Wooblershield says there will normally be a boom when a top celebrity has children, or if royals establish a new generaion. But these days none of these are actual, bar all the recent rumors addressing movie star Judith Ward's sudden family focus.

Royal students visited Exhibition «Rewind: Sim Sessions»

(Year 230, Fall) Not quite recent, but still worth a notice. Late Summer a small group of students got a guided tour of the Sim Session exhibition at Munipical Muse Museum in Gloomville. The teens included HRH Crown Princess Emireza (19) and her brother HRH Prince Bazillimus (17) with two friends.

Museum curator Nancy D. Roxenfox welcomed the little group from Summerfield Boarding School in Windenburg. The event was off records, and turned out to be a spontaneous idea from the Crown Princess.

Households of Mt. Komorebi: Akiyama Family (+ Fashion)

(Year 230, Fall) I'm introducing the many households in my game, including some details on cultural and historical aspects. I like to share, and it might also help me sorting out further paths and much needed inspiration for my game.

5th protected family of Komorebi:
Akiyama Family

Protector of the (love-) Bird, Protected by the Cherry tree (blossom), Element Changes.

Originally there were 7 protcted families in each of the 3 kingdoms that are today forming the Empire of Snorthia. Today only the Nishidake family (1st Protected family of Komorebi) ranks higher than Akiyama, from the old Komorebi families.

Since their origin in Year 44 only 1 out of 5 heads of the Akiyama family did not have a position in the Imperial Council. With such a strong community position it was no surprise that the current head could marry a 36 years younger daughter of the Emperor, Princiss Magile.

Closing down the Regional Councils?

(Year 230, Fall) These days a political reform is debated in the People Chamber of Mazaloom, and although there are still about 4 years until the next election, a reform will need to be voted on no later than during Year 232. There are several aspects coming into play, and one of them might be closing down the 8 regional Councils.

- Our Politicians burn themselves out, says President Wilder. - Basically you get elected a Councilor representing your district, which makes you a member of the Council of your region. But many Councilors will also get a seat at the People Chamber, with an extra office in San Myshuno. The consequence is that you can't give 100% in the regional Council, and you can't give 100% in People Chamber. Especially if you have a family, it is practically impossible serving all these arenas at the same time.

Judith Ward's new Movies

(Year 230 Fall) Late Summer there was a film premiere from Simmerville Studio, and this Winter there is yet another one! Both movies feature global star Judith Ward (66).

At the press meeting in the studio café in Gloomville few weeks ago, that also presented financial overcasts and a line up of future productions, CEO Fritz Mervil (38) more than hinted that the two movies had taken longer than expected thanks to conflicts between crew and cast. When a journalist asked whether the conflict included Judith Ward, Mervil quickly changed subject.

Grand Ball at Royal Palace - Mega picture post!

(Year 230, Fall) It's Fall already, but not too late to serve you a mega picture report from the Grand Ball that closes the Social season of every year. This is also a good way to stay updated with most of Mazaloom's nobility. Social season lasts all through Summer, and is packed with events for the aristocracy. Noble men and women, and sometimes joined by their old-enough-to-get-married-shortly children, gather for garden parties, walks, sports and a lot more, all leading up to the Grand Ball taking place at the royal palace, Chateau Peak.

Upon arrival the many guests will greet the royal hosts.

The Grand Ball has been arranged annually ever since Year 151. The gala event is hosted by the Monarch and Consort. Invitation with directions is sent from the royal palace to each of the higher ranked Houses six months ahead.
