As Sims Go By - New Episode: Family Portraits

(The Sims 4 Machinima) Here is episode 2 of the 3rd season of my ongoing video series AS SIMS GO BY! This time Josue Roasewood is in focus, he is set to wok on a project including an online family portraits catalog, in coorporation with the Historical Museum. But also his daughter Mandy is a main character, developing her romantic relation to the old man from Selvadorada that she had a baby with. Meanwhile the secret chartil waits eagerly for someone showing up with a seed from the Windenburg moneytree, to claim leadership. So, while there is still a touch of nobility, this episode is probably the most romantic story of the series this far.

In this 3rd season there are a few changes - like each episode focusing more on just one household. Less info require that you watched previous episodes, as each episode is more like a stand alone video. It's still real sims and locations from my game, and some scenes are even regular gameplay with not so much rigging. So, I also see the series like a documentary on how I play, despite lots of editing, of course.

As Sims Go By - Teaser

I know it has been a while since As Sims Go By season 3 opened with its first episode. Rest assured I'm not letting down my tiny but highly appreciated audience :)

A new episode is in the works, I'd say 95% is already done and that includes most editing. With a few more hours of fine editing the 2nd episode of this season will premiere this Wednesday - tomorrow! So, who are in focus this time, in my series featuring real sims at real locations?

House of Dougham: Triplets Celebrating Teenage Birthday

(Newcrest, Year 226) The Dougham triplets Cornelus, Martin and Wilhelmina celebrated their teen birthday yesterday. The triplets are well known also outside Newcrest, as their mother is successful business woman Corinne Dougham, Lady Crestville - and their father is Region 12's Mayor Charloman Au. (Crumpleton) Dougham.

Mr Cornelus Augosto Dougham (centered) was first born of the three, and is also declared the main heir to his mother's noble title. He has been an active Scout, and plans to continue this activity aside of focusing on school. Being a perfectionist he will likely do well in school, which will help building a snobby life style and his dream of becoming Fabulous Wealthy.

As Sims Go By - Season 3 is here!

(The Sims 4 Machinima) 3rd season of my video series AS SIMS GO BY is here! In this 1st episode (of 5) the main character is Mayor Charloman Dougham's wife, Corinne Dougham Lady Crestville. She is obsessed with becoming a Baroness and she faces a dilemma when realizing who will be replacing Jacques Villareal as the leader of the secret cartel. The Council starts a new 5 years period with 2 new members, and triplets Cornelius, Martin and Wilhelmina will soon start high school.

As Sims Go By - More Sneak Peeks (season 3)

(Year 225) The first episode is as good as done, and will be released in a week or so. Here are a few more peeks just because I keep filling my screenshots folder :)

Season 3 will be different as each episode is more like stand-alone videos, meaning there won't be needed info dropped in previous episode, like in the first 2 seasons. You can watch just one episiode and understand most of it :) The Dougham household at Crestville in Newcrest is the main household of the first episode. With fewer households involved and less "15 seconds scenes" there will be less confusion - hopefully. I also think it might be more interesting to get better acquainted with just one family at the time.

In Production: As Sims Go By (season 3)

After completing season 2 of my soap-ish video series featuring real sims on real locations, this Fall I had to take a big step to the side. The series takes way too much time to create for a very small number of viewers. I can blame the latter on how hard it is to beat YouTube's logarithm, but I also must admit that the series' concept has become too hectic and complex. Especially in second season when I tried to squeeze in one extra story with an additional set of characters and locations. That was a huge mistake.

Mayor Charloman Au. C. Dougham's wife Corinne is a central character of the 3rd season's 1st episode.

So, after a couple months of reflecting, and based on the highly valued feedback from a few viewers, I've concluded as follows:

As Sims Go By - Season 2 - Episode 5

[The Sims 4 Machinima] Here's the 5th and final episode of AS SIMS GO BY 2nd season! Will Jill Potterfield finally lock up the suspect? It's been fun sharing my take on the Villareal backstory. This episode is a mix of so much, also included a tiny bit ECO lifestyle. There's several romancing couple, and a wedding (on the sideline). See more from the Gloom Order gala dinner, and see a tiny corner of the gardens at Chateau Cavalier. I hope you enjoy this 17 min episode :)

This season has only 5 episodes, each lasting about 16 minutes, so next and final episode will be up late May.

As Sims Go By - Season 2 - Episode 4

[The Sims 4 Machinima] Episode 4 of this season is called "A Touch Of Nobility". In my ongoing video series As Sims Go By you follow the ups and downs of Region 12's 5 Councilors and their families. Plus in this season the main story deals with (my take on) the Villareal household's backstory! Jill Potterfield keeps investigating the 33 years old drowning of Duke von Windenburg, Mandy Rosewood faces challenges in the jungle, Edward von Kaching finally learns about his grandfather, and Joanna (Siobhan) Fyres finally visits her folks at Dresden Farm. And of course a lot more!

This season has only 5 episodes, each lasting about 16 minutes, so next and final episode will be up late May.

If you are new to this series, it's recommended to watch season 1 (6 episodes), but you can hopefully enjoy this episode even if you start here. Feedback is always welcome.

As Sims Go By - Episode 3

Here is the 3rd episode of this season! In my ongoing video series As Sims Go By you follow the ups and downs of Region 12's 5 Councilors and their families. Plus in this season the main story deals with (my take on) the Villareal household's backstory! In this episode Wilhelmina gets lost, there is a party at the Chateau Cavalier, the secret vault project gets released, and there is also focus on University in several ways.

This season has only 5 episodes, each lasting about 16 minutes, so next chapter will be up late February.

Here is this seasons 2nd episode! In my ongoing video series As Sims Go By you follow the ups and downs of Region 12's 5 Councilors and their families. Plus in this season you also get my take on the Villareal story! This new challenges are up for Fanny, Victor and Joanna. And you even get a mention of University, although I don't have that pack until next week - hopefully.

As Sims Go By - here is Season 2

The wait is over, here is the first episode of my sope series' 2nd season! The episode is called "Separate Property" and both a lawyer and courtroom is introduced. They are in my game, and I see that I will use them in the future! You also get the introduction to my take on the Villareal story, and of course the everyday of my 5 Councilors. All 5 were re-elected for a new 5 years period, but there is a new Mayor...

This season has 5 episodes, each lasting about 16 minutes, the last to air late December this year.

If you are new to this series, it's recommended to watch season 1 (6 episodes), but you can hopefully enjoy this episode even if you start here.

As Sims Go By - Season 2 PROMO video

Just breaking the silence with a quick promo video to inform you that 2nd season of my video series As Sims Go By is coming up shortly! Real sims filmed on real locations in my game. You will recognize the 5 councilors from previous season, but the Mayor is brand new! This season also covers my take on the Villareal story!

This season has 5 episodes, each lasting about 16 minutes. The 5th episode will air before end of December. So - stay tuned! :)

First episode will air on October 8th.

As Sims go By - Season 2 starting soon!

Just to let you know that my video series As Sims Go By will be back later this month! Story is written, and first episode is currently in production. The base concept is the same, but there is also a new focus story outside the Council spanning all 5 episodes. Episodes will be reduced from 22 to 16 minutes.

What is Claudia Tangerin up to now...? In a few weeks you will find out!

I don't know yet if I'll take the time to create a video teaser, but I sure can post a picture! And there might be more pictures too, until release of episode 1 this September.

As Sims Go By - Episode 6 - The Fifth Owner (Season 1 closing)

Finally - the last episode of season 1 is now available on my Youtube channel!

It is called "The fifth owner", and although introducing private schools to my game is the Council's main focus, Siobhan has a different agenda these days. But, there is also lots of other stuff going on, threads to be spun in season 2, and even a surprise pregnancy!

I'd also like to hear which are your favorite character(s). In a short while I will write the entire season 2 (need to do it all in one go to stay in control of the mane story threads), and I have not yet decided whether some characters will leave the story and others will be more highlighted. What a pity if the only favorite character is removed! So, let me know who or what you want to stay in season 2, okay? :)

Video delay

My plan was to air episode 6 of my As Sims Go By video series in June. I worked very hard on reaching this, while my RL vacation rapidly got closer. I even delayed my departure with one day with hopes of completing this 6th episode which will also close the fiirst season.

But no. Sometimes RL vacations must have priority. Only 80% done with the episode I had to throw in the towel and leave my home. So, this episode will be released in July instead. No big deal, although I'd much prefer to start planning the 2nd season when returning back home.

Good thing is that I enjoy making this series so much that I'm pretty sure there will be a 2nd season starting in September.

On the picture you see one of the main characters, Fanny Silverbone, suddenly taking a big jump! I didn't see her this enthusiastic before, and as this jumping happened on free will, it was pure luck that I captured the right second. Her life certainly takes a big swing in episode 6, but there's also a lot more going on!

As Sims Go By - Saving the Elderly Vote (ep5)

Episode 5 of my Machinima series "As Sims Go By" is up on my Youtube channel! It's finally time for Fanny to focus on retirement homes, and the new Fun Factory house is opening. But so much more is going on; a wedding, a pregnancy, and the investigation of a murder...

I'd love to have more feedback, so whether you like it or not, don't hesitate dropping me a note :) Is too much goin on? Are the scenes too short? Too many characters? Too long episodes? Let me know, it might make it easier for me to decide whether I shall start planning a season 2, or not.

As Sims Go By - Episode 3 is out!

3rd episode of my soap series is called "City Shopping Mall". The Region 12 council must pick one shopping mall to be San Myshuno's main mall. Of course, secret forces are doing their best to influence on their decission. There is also lots of other stuff going on in this 23 minutes long episode.

This series focuses on the 5 members of my Region 12 council. They all have some challenges both in politics and private. And the mysterious group, what is their mission?

In a few weeks there will also be a new film in my "How I Play" series, giving you a little more info on 2 of the shopping malls in my game.

As Sims Go By - New episode out now!

2nd episode of my soap series is called "Growing Farm Rights". So, farming is one of the highlighted subjects, but there is also lots of other stuff going on. You'll learn to know the 5 Councilors better, get a few more ideas about those mysterious people, and there is of course some hints for next episode.

In a week or so there will also be a new film in my "How I Play" series, explaining the Farm Rights a bit more in detail.

Celebrities in my game

Hello! Wondering what I am up to?

The entire Sims community seems to be busy with the recently released Get Famous expansion pack. I've not grabbed this pack yet, but do keep an eye on let's play videos on Youtube, just to see if it might match my game play a bit more than I think.

Fact is, I already built a studio in my game, long ago. This was done to shoot a few scenes for my "As Sims Go By" Youtube series.
