Simmerville Studio webpage

(Year 233, Spring) Time has come to release Simmerville Studio's new webpage! You will see that it was built on the same formula as Plumbob Picture's webpage, but there are still some unique content. Also, while Plumbob Pictures produce for the silver screen, Simmerville Studio focuses on TV productions, which are both drama series, documentary, talkshows, news and more. And, perhaps the most interesting difference: Most of Simmerville Studio's productions can be streamed anytime you like!

Simmerville Studio is well established in Gloomville.

It was fun building their catalog for the new webpage, because the new system is scripted to integrate their productions with the talent agencies, the actors and others who contributed.

Simmerville Show - #7 (with a touch of Lovestruck)

(Year 232, Fall) Hey ho! Fritz Mervil is back with the 7th edition of The Simmerville Show, and this time all three guests are female. One with a memory from Ciudad Enamorada! Also, learn about the Flock People, and meet a fresh Knight!

The focus of the show in general is how I play my game, and all sims involved - including guests as well as the live audience - are actual sims from my game.

The Simmerville Show - #6 Landlords and more

(Year 232, Spring) Happy New Year! Fritz Mervil is back with 6th edition of The Simmerville Show, and this time several guests are Landlords. This edition has no clear theme, though, and the five guests bring various subjects to the table.

This show was recorded a while ago, but editing process was delayed by RL. The focus of the show in general is how I play my game, and all sims involved - including guests as well as the live audience - are actual sims from my game.

Simmerville Show featuring Rentals - in the Making

Just a quick heads up - Guest caretaker, Jane Gargoyle, will soon be back on the 6th edition of my Simmerviille Show. So will the host, Fritz Mervil and of course plenty of guests. This edition will cover many topics, and one guest you might find familiar, Malcolm Landgraab (78). That's right, he is guesting the show because he is a true Landlord, and he will share a new family project of his involving rentals... in Tomarang, even?

Jane Gargoyle, a celebrity in Mazaloom, has appeared on all editions of the Simmerville Show.

Jane, the vampire, will as usual take good(?) care of the guests, backstage...

The Simmerville Show - Equestrian edition!

(Year 231, Spring) Fritz Mervil is back with The Simmerville Show, and this time most of he guests are Equestrians debating horses, ranch life and competitions.

Disclaimer: This edition was made before the Horse Ranch EP release, so if anything said is not matching the true content, forgive me *not* :) The focus of the show is how I play my game, and all sims involved - including the live audience - are actual sims from my game.

The Simmerville Show #4

(Year 230, Spring) Fritz Mervil is here with the 4th issue of The Simmerville Show, recorded at Fun Factory with guests and a live audience! This time the guests discuss a rare DNA defect and an upcoming trial, acting and not to forget a big challenge that is offered to one of the guests!

As usual, you might recognize a couple guests even if you don't follow this blog.

Fun fact: Did you know that the stage actually exists as part of the culture house called «Fun Factory», at Magnolia Promenade? This place is packed with rentable media production studios, meet & greet area, café, a small bar in the basement and even a restricted celebrity area. Random works made by visitors are put on the exhibition wall. This stage is rather small, with an attached costume+make-up room accessible only by stage crew. I think there are 30 seats for the audience.

Judith Ward Leaks own Appearance!

(Year 230, Winter) The Simmerville Show nevber reveals their guests beforehand, so this week most were taken by surprise when one of the guests of the soon to air show was leaked: Actress Judith B. Ward (66) claims to be guesting the popular show - and this info was leaked by Judith herself...

The global star has been guesting the Simmerville Show also in the past. This year she has been very active with lead role in two movies, where one of them were directed by herself.

We can't wait to find out what she will be talking about this time, and not the least - who are the other secret guests?

The Simmerville Show #3

(Year 230, Spring) Fritz Mervil is here with the 3rd issue of The Simmerville Show, recorded at Fun Factory with a live audience! This time the guests discuss high school, royal blood, acting and politics. You will recognize a couple guests even if you don't follow this blog.

The Simmerville Show is a nifty way for me to share stories and builds from my Mazaloom. There's plenty of references to the past, but you won't need any knowledge of my sims universe to watch, neither will there be many links between the shows. Each show lasts about 8-10 minutes.

Airing soon: The Simmerville Show #3

It's been a while, but now the Simmerville Show is back with many guests and a live audience!

Host Fritz Mervil promises an interesting set of guests. And the live audience is as cheering as always!

Fritz Mervil is CEO of Simmerville Studio and is hosting the show.

- We found that the concept works very well with four guests per show - reduced to three if there is a longer out-of-the-house entry. There is a long list of people wanting to guest the show, which makes it a bless to pick a good combination. We want each show to offer something serious, some gossip and some celebrity. Some guests should be practically unknown to the TV audience, but then there will normally be someone who most viewers will love or hate.

The Simmerville Show - #2

(Year 229) Finally, Fritz Mervil is back with a new edition of The Simmerville Show! This time the subjects span from werewolves and mermaids to my game's political system. 

Also, there is a sweet reunion from the «Sims By Numbers» show that was posted on my blog back in 2014. Back then the contenders were fresh Young Adults - meet them again 44 later! :) The old blog show can still be found on this blog (Archives).

The Simmerville Show - Premiere!

(Year 228) Finally, my new TV-show is airing! It's lots of fun with a mix of guests in studio and video reports from visiting local households. Main host Fritz Mervil (CEO of Simmerville Studio, Inc.) is assisted by a Castle Reporter and Guest Caretaker.

This show is also a nifty way for me to share stories and builds from my Region 12. There's plenty of references to the past, but you won't need any knowledge to watch, neither will there be many links between the shows. Each show lasts about 12 minutes,

With a live audience: The Simmerville Show!

(Year 228) A brand new TV show will premier end of January! Today the last recordings with a live audience took place at Fun Factory at Magnolia Promenade. The show includes many guests as well as reports from visits to local households.

Main host, Fritz Mervil, is assisted by a Castle Reporter and a Guest Caretaker, but refuses to tell us who his two assistants are or what exactly they will do. The former is said to visit households all over the region, with video reports being presented during the show. There is no rule for what households to be featured, but we will try to visit one high nobility House per show, plus one other. It will be possible posting a request if you want to be visited, or if there is a specific house you want us to tour. The Guest Caretaker will of course tend to our guests.

- Anyone who watched all previous video productions by Simmerville Studio will recognize them both, but they never appeared in the same production before! That's all I can say now!

It was freezing cold at Fun Factory during the recording, and both Mervil and the audience complained, but nobody left the set.
