Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

Region 12 NEWS - Year 222

Year 222 is complete, and here's the annual NEWS edition!

The clip is just 3 minutes, and contains standard rubrics like News, Finance, Showbiz, Job listings, and of course various Family notes. The Y222 edition features Duchess de Cavalier, Don Lothario, Diego Lobo, Penny Pizzazz and many more!

Hosts to tie it all together are Paulo Caliente and Antoinette Morck.

You might find a few how I play tips, and most news have more details in the community section/residents registry linked from top of this blog. There is also some info in my As Sims Go By video series.

Duchess Claudine de Cavalier honored with "Order of the Sprout"

[As Days Go By, Y222: House de Cavalier] Looks like my As Days Go By picture posts series skipped a few years! Perhaps my many projects simply got too much for me to handle. All those videos taking most of my time, and always being behind schedule. But I always capture tons of screenshots while playing, intending to share stuff from houses that are not featured in the As Sims Go By series.

Anyways, I figured it's time to move on with the ADGB posts, but to make the task easier (and perhaps less confusing), I'll rather focus on one of my 60(?) households in each post. Then I can post it while I'm on the ball, instead of forgetting all about it one month later. So, to kick it off, here's an update from the highest nobility house in my game, the house of Duke de Cavalier. And, if you got curious to see one of those older picture posts, here's As Days Go By Year 218.

Recently Duchess Claudine Beatrix de Cavalier was awarded the exclusive "Order of the Sprout" for her great work on the Duchess' Botanical Tables, a project she gladly spent 10 years to (almost) complete. The ceremony took place at the Council House and she was very proud for this achievement, because the order, initiated by King Baltazar II 221 years ago, allows for only 10 members at any time - nation wide!

Free download: Old Framed Documents

July 2022: Downloading from this blogger post no longer works, so please head over to a new page listing all my TS4  custom content. All free. DOWNLOADS

I missed some wall hangings for my upper class sims' studies, so I created these 3 framed old documents with a touch of noble genealogy. It's technically 1 object with 3 swatches. There is some "human" text, but it's so tiny that it might just as well be Simlish :)

I figure these might work well both in a finer study and in a Library, maybe even in a Historical Museum. So I decided to share them, as others might find good use of them.

Frames come only in one color version, and the chosen frame is eve rather simple, more like a well hidden treasure that the owner has forgotten all about :) It's more the kind of a diploma documents than valuable art that the owner wants to show off. But you'll of course make up your own story :)

Download here.

(Link might be temporary, so please don't share link, but rather link to this blog post - I'll of course update if file gets moved.

Nobility project: History, Coat of arms, High Orders and Jewelry

Oh my! I'm abroad at the time, far away from my game. But what do you do when you can't access your save? Planning ahead of course!

Or back. This Winter I started creating a detailed background for my community. I already have a couple noble families, mainly Duke de Cavalier and Lady de Sür-Blyth, but I wanted to know their background. Not just one geration, but five! Or ten, even! And my oh my - one thing can certainly lead to another!
