Old-Duke is dead - Wedding downscaled

(Year 229, Brindleton Bay) House de Cavalier reports the death of Old-Duke Aquess (82)! His full name was Aquess Benedict de Cavalier, and he was the 3rd Duke de Cavalier, residing Chateau Cavalier most of his life.

Aquess married the Hon. Claudine Roxenfox and they had 3 children. When he stepped down due to poor health 2 years ago, he and Old-Duchess Claudine moved to Hindquarter Manor near by.

He led a successful Military career, and aged 62 he was awarded the "High Order of Warriors". When retiring he took up writing. Fiction  combined with local history became his brand, despites never really breaking through it gave him great pleasure. He easily got involved with various sides of community, like being Patron of Brindleton Horticultural Society (Y182-189).

Old-Duke Aquess leaves behind the widowed Old-Duchess Claudine, 3 children and 1 grandchild.

His oldest son, Charlopold Demitris, took over the dukedom already, after several requests the Royal Chamber finally accepted to make an exception to the rigid rule following the peerage's letter of patent.

But - there is a garden, and despite being a small outdoor area, I thought I ought to make those outdoors more or less representable. If not for anything else than the esthetics when seen from the neighbors like Judith Ward and Thorne Bailey. The royal household resides on 3rd floor, so just walking out into the garden and back in will take them more than one hour (that's why I planned for a large 3rd floor terrace). So I can't see them using the garden very often, but for some occasions - or photo sessions - it might get useful.

It's only the minimum of what I think a formal garden should contain, but this might be adjusted later. Let's have a quick look at the current situation:
