Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

Free Download: Framed Medals

July 2022: Downloading from this blogger post no longer works, so please head over to a new page listing all my TS4  custom content. All free. DOWNLOADS

This CC I created long ago for my own game, but I thought it might be interesting to a few of you, also. So, because I'm rather lazy updating my blog bar a few video releases this Christmas, here is a new download for you - framed medals!

This item includes 10 swatches for variety. Five of the medals are the top 5 ranks medals from the Military career, but you won't need the career (which requires StrangerVille game pack). You will need the Paranormal stuff pack, though, as this object is based on the small framed silhouette portrait from that pack.
In addition to that set of 5 military medals, you get 3 of the medals that I created for my nobility way back. So, your sim can actually wear them. See this blog post for more info and additional download.

I use the military medals when a family member is dead, and the descendants want to show of his/her achievement without using the entire cabinet - they will simply display the framed version of the highest medal earned, maybe together with a portrait. Perfect on the mantel or any shelf o other surface. My nobility order medals I display wherever appropriate, but if they still wear them occasionally, they might just be on a dresser or vanity table as part of their regular "regalia".

Displayed 10 versions are 5 military medals (1-5), my 3 nobility medals (7-9). In addition you get one empty frame (6) matching the green frames, and one empty red frame (10) with a certificate from the Royal Chamber. The empty frames might be fun for story telling - robbery or whatever ;)

Free download here. (no adds, no login)
If you share the file, please do so via this blog post in case of updates.
