Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

People Chamber: Law & Justice department

(Year 231, Winter) It's been a while since the Year 230 election, so it's on time with a brief introduction to the 5 departments of People Chamber; Law & Justice, Trades & Taxes, Culture & Entertainment, Health & Welfare, and finally Science & Education. Learn about Mazaloom's fine Politicians!

This article introduces the current 5 seats of Law & Justice department.

Left to right: President Rob Wilder (RIGHT), Ingar Wunderberg (RIGHT), Bill Loffertop (LEFT),
Otto Vittingham (RIGHT), and High Priest Ansgar Profedius (Church of Similius).

This department, often seen as the top department, is normally lead by the President. In addition there will be 4 members including the High Priest of Church of Similius. The state religion's representatiives are currently being debated, but the discussion is kept out of the Regional Reform discussions.

For the current period, Law & Justice department is dominated by the RIGHT party with 3 seats, while LEFT has only 1 seat. It doesn't mean much though as adjustment of laws must be approved by all 3 chambers anyway. First the Law & Justice department would address a suggestion, then the People Chamber would need to approve, and finally both the Royal Chamber and Court Chamber would need to approve. If any objection, the wording might need fine tuning before all chambers votes again. The RIGHT party dominance might favor the Royal Chamber a little, as they have a common past, both basically protecting the top society, where the mony is.

You can find more about this department's main duties here.

President Rob Wilder (70)

E
lected for Region 12 Mazaloom, represents RIGHT party. This is Wilder's first period as President, and he was rather new on the national political arena. In the past he was hood contact for San Myshuno's Fashion District for 10 years. He is known for running his Wilder Fashion store, which was sold when he moved to Uptown to marry Holly Alto.

Politically Wilder protects the old systems, and he is in favor of traditional estetiques. His course is "Foundation of Less Mischief", and he has focused quite a bit on more resources to prevent crimes. Despite his past as a fashion business owner, he has admitted that he prefers everything simple, and he normally speaks more from the hearth than his wallet. He is wealthy though, and his wife, Holly Alto, majority owner of Alto Enterprices Inc adds to their wealth. Alto has one son who just grew up, while the couple has a set of twins who are still teenagers. The family resides at the upper class Uptown in San Myshuno.

Wilder's political career is facing an end regardless of the upcoming Regional Reform, that might affect San Myshuno in several ways, as he just turned elderly and will not be allowed to run for another period come the Year 235 election.

Elected for Region 1 Windenburg, represents RIGHT party. He recently married to high school Principal Hettie P. Fartingham, and they had a baby girl. Periodically he rents a small flat to stay closer to People Chamber, avoiding all those long travels as Windenburg is quite far from San Myshuno, where People Chamber is located.

Politically Fartingham's course is "Speak for the Trees". He is seen as the formal country side Politician, serving farmers and with a slightly odd approach to many urban cases. He represented the RIGHT party for years, but often meets the MIDDLE party's eco friendly approach. He is a protector of traditions regarding our community, but is open to modern estetiques. He introduces himself as a Politician for the future. He will be allowed to ran for only one more period before he gets too old for nomination.

Elected for Region 6 Aarbyville, represents LEFT party. He resides at Copperdale, Region 4 Crafthole. He is not a pro Politician, but managed to reach this far anyway. He is in a close relation with Bianca Sterner who is also representing the LEFT party with a seat at People Chamber. He has reported that he intends to settle with Sterner in Copperdale, Reg 4.

Politically Loffertop's course is "Simoleons for Everyone", with a special consern for the poor families. His style is seen as dominant and a bit agressive, though, but not without a warm spot for the people involved.

He might run for another period.

Otto Vittingham (68)

Elected for Region 12 Mazaloom, representing RIGHT party. He resides at Meadows in San Myshuno, and he is single. He has worked with politics for many years on various levels.

Politically Vittingham's course is "Foundation of Less Mischief". He protects traditions, and through his rather dominant approach he succeeded in many cases. He fully supports President Wilder's anti-crime program.

This is his last period as he wll be too old come the Year 235 election.

Non-elected, representing Church of Similius. He resides the High Priest Abode in Windenburg's Old Town, where he is married and have 2 grown up children.

Politically Profedius is expected to protect old traditions and estetiques, and he seems to prefer no changes to law and justice. He holds one of two seats representing Mazaloom's state religion, and he is the one to decide what Priest shall join him at People Chamber, but who is always assigned for a different department.

From next election the church might be given only one seat, but nothing was decided yet. The 2 Priests are the only People Chamber representatives that can choose not to pick a course. They are also rumored to not show up as often as the other representatives, which has built some of the critics against them occupying two seats, non electively.
