Their old introduction reveals that they made a living from collecting stuff to sell at Muggerdale Fair, next door, but truth is that today this households are criminals. Well, elderly Miri and Corinne (pictured) both retired, but their kids Rambo and Sculla grew up to become nice, criminal young adults.
Another fun detail is that the entire family, except Corinne, has got the Evil trait! She misses that trait, after all that was probably what she fell for in her hubby Miri, but being mean does somehow compensate...
They are not a very popular asset here at Muggerdale, keeping all their neighbors at a distance. They keep most to themselves, and other families don't really know much about this household. Neighbors do know that anyone from the Schwaini family might find it worth crossing the street in a hurry just to insult strangers passing by.
Corinne loves insulting, and so do the other three... She actually has healthy interests, too, like growing flowers, but she never actually got deep into it. In the past she sold some flowers at the fair, but these days there is no trace of any home grown plants on their lot.
Son Rambo has no formal job commitment, but he wanders town to steal whatever shows up. He is an experienced pocket thief already, but is about to slow down on his merits. In fact he has been looking for a girl to marry lately, still no luck though. His reputation does him no good, being both evil and poor.
Daughter Sculla is a young adult, too, and she obviously takes after her mum. Sculla is rather unfriendly to strangers, like this pink haired guy who just wanted to say hello an to comment that Sculla's pants does match his hair pretty well. Sculla is not at all interested in men, first she wants to focus on anything Chief of Mischief,
Then, one night some randomness changed so much! Old Miri was in the street eating his pancake, in order to scare strangers off their ground, when a charismatic lady named Jasmine Holiday stopped by. She told Miri about the upcoming Day of the Dead, an annual celebration that Miri already knew very well but never got quite into. Miri and Corinne always felt attracted to occultism, and they even met one of Grim Reaper's secret union members on one occasion! Collecting sugar sculls would be interesting, and was it even a meant to be? After all their daughter was named Sculla, by mistake, many years ago!
They decided to collect as many sculls as possible. Nine of them were needed to become part of the celebrations. And well, what was the risk? If everything failed they could probably sell those sculls at Muggerdale Fair, pretending they were valuable antique collectibles just to raise the price.
One problem occurred, though, they had to behave friendly in order to receive any of those sculls! Corrine quickly learned that insulting those celebrators did not help at all. Neighbors started to dress up in costumes in order to have their first decent conversation with the Schwaini family without being recognized and shooed. The mood became cheerful all over Muggerdale, the street got busier than ever before, and neighbors even got to see Corinne's scary and awful smile once or twice.
Now both Corinne and Miri rushed into the street first thing in the morning, still wearing their sleepwear! Neighbors stopped by for the almost friendly chat, and although nobody got real close to this family, they could at least tell their friends that they had a talk with someone from the Schwaini household - again. Nobody were ever invited inside, and a few thought the reason would be that the Schwaini house was packed with stolen goods.
Finally, one day Miri succeeded! He got his ninth unique sugar scull and got this wonderful chance to become a celebrator himself! But new questions and challenges should raise...
What would be the best way to spread evilness to the neighbors now that the Schwaini family had finally gained some respect? Was the kind respect better than the evil respect? Miri wanted to scare the life out of them all, and making the right moves might help him with just that!
Because, being evil by heart when everyone think you are quite nice after all, might be a benefit somehow...
