Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

The Five Units Challenge - Report #10 - Into the Wild

With Parenthood GP installed, I'm testing this all through a challenge ongoing for 3 generations. So far the founders raised 4 children, 2 of them are already teens. I like Parenthood GP very much, and it's fun to see that also other installments from community lots to activities get a new flavor. Today they will test yet another feature!

Gathering a family for a group meal is very easy, and they normally sit long enough for some chatting, too.

Today Sylvia told the kids that she and Abraham have planned a quick vacation. They can skip school tomorrow, and early in the morning they will head into the wild! Fiona is quite enthusiastic, while Rudolph (wearing yellow) seems to have second thoughts.

Little Donna was quite shocked next morning when realizing that her sister Fiona had grown up during the night!

Fiona is now a teen, and she has the traits Cheerful and Jealous, and the aspiration Outdoor Enthusiast. For the record, her character values are Responsible and pretty good manners, the other 3 are slightly in the red.

Few hours later the entire family was ready for the vacation, all dressed up!

Sylvia had ordered their vacation, and she decided to spend little money by camping in a tent in the wild. They will stay only one night, so this won't take long, and I doubt they will try to do any particular hiking into the woods. It will be interesting seeing how the kids will behave away from home, though.

Eating in the wild is great! Hm, what would this be like with changing weather? Luckily they had nice weather all day!

After a meal, Fiona did her homework! I really wish they would not do that on vacation, but next time I'll make sure to leave those books at home.

Donna saw a bear!

Sylvia was curious to search for wild plants. The forest should be full, but she just walks around camp ground and also bought a potato and a growfruit in the camp ground kiosk.

She found some wild berries that she never saw before. Bringing home some berries might be exciting.

Sylvia also made sure to talk with Fiona who just grew into a teen. I think this trip was good to them all because they found more time to talk, than they normally do.

Not really pictured, but Sammy got a second hand guitar from the camp ground kiosk! He's thrilled, playing the instrument all day...

Sylvia decided to plant one of her two glow fruits right there on camp ground. Might be smart if they return in the future?

The tent allows only 3 of them to sleep at the time, so they took turns. It was quite pleasant sitting by the bonfire too.

Back home, Sylvia celebrated their return with a good meal. A few photos she took in the woods are on the kitchen wall. The growfruit and the strange berries are on the counter. It was a nice trip, but I think next time they will not go all six of them. Maybe just 2 or 3 of them will make it easier to experience more of what Granite Springs has to offer.

To be continued...
