The Five Units Challenge - Report 18 - Donna's Engagement

Pregnancy tests are exciting, especially when they announce that your sim is eating for two! Donna was proven pregnant, and in a way she was relieved, because it meant she was now on the ball, one step closer to having a baby with black hair and green eyes!

Of course, her main heir won't need to fit the bill 100%, but bringing on the right genes will make it a lot easier for the next generation.

A new detail in this game is that taking the pregnancy test will now also affect the male sim. He will get out of bed, sit down and wait for the result to be announced. Hm, I'm not sure if he will do this only when the test is positive, if so it would be a spoiler seeing him getting prepared for the announcement, so I really hope he does it no matter what result...

Well, Gerald was pleased to learn that he will soon become a father.

Things happed so quickly, Donna had not yet introduced Gerald to her family, but the next day she did.

- Today my boyfriend Gerald will be over for dinner!, she announced.
- Oh, that will be nice!, mom Sylvia chanted.
- And, I'm pregnant!, Donna continued.

Sister Fiona said nothing, she was too tired for cheers.

Donna welcomed Gerald, and he was thrilled to see that her belly was much bigger already.

Then Donna pulled up a ring!

She had no time to lose. The child would need to be a Clump, proposing to Gerald was the only right thing to do. He accepted, and moved in with Donna and her family. He brought nearly §20.000, meaning the household funds that were just about §5.000 are now pretty good.

They discussed the wedding, and Donna wanted it to take place at home, in the garden.

- The garden will be big enough. We can hire a chef and a musician!
- Whatever you want, my dear!, Gerald said.
- And I will need to pimp my formal wear!

Inside Abraham and Sylvia were happy for Donna.

- I'm amazed by her progress!, Abraham laughed. - She could hardly get a faster start.
- Right, and she is already pregnant, that's awesome!

Then they ate dinner, and Gerald made great contact with his future mother-in-law.

To everyone's surprise Abraham suddenly stood up, waving his arms.

- Enough!, he said with a firmly voice. - Sylvia, let's go for a walk, leaving the conversation to the engaged couple!

Abraham was jealous!
