(Year 229) Ever since they started socializing on their own. the Mazaloom community has loved the two eccentric Luxe-Hamper sisters. And when the public loves anything royal, the gossip magazines will never be far away. They would not miss a detail when reporting from the party princesses' café meetings or night club events.
Party princesses: Aleccandra and Hortenzia. Photo from their late teens. |
Their mother,HH Princess Astoria from the House of Alto (actually Holly Alto's Aunt) used to be the one eccentric family member when it comes to outfits not necessarily matching the dress code of the day, wearing way to heavy makeup, performing the weirdest dancing moves, or simply giving the press the wrong details. Prince Barris' marriage was quite controversial, not the least because Astoria Alto already had a son with a man she never married. She left the 7 years old boy (Alfonso Alto) with his dad at Isla Paradiso. It is a known fact that if Astoria was not already pregnant with Prince Barris' child (not yet showing, though) the King would not have approved on their marriage.
However, the crazy Princess Astoria was to be outclassed by her daughters, the two party princesses, who never cared a lot about royal behavior. Being quite far down in any line of successors to the throne, they probably just decided to have some fun with very little at stake. And, let's face it - their mother was obviously not the guide they needed into royal society. The following example is from a photo shoot at Chateau Peak, probably the coronation of their aunt Queen Evez.
Princess Hortenzia could not stand still, and started to pour out colorful paint just before the huge group photo was to be taken. Her mother, Astoria, excused the girl saying that she was a very creative child with an enormous talent and needed to express herself at any time and occasion. Then rumors have it that Princess Hortenzia started coloring her mother's dress blue! Her parents pretended it was not happening.

The two sisters were not invited to Chateau Peak again until they were teens.
Baron Sacariaz de Tartosa and Princess Aleccandra. Her mother in-law, Dowager Baroness Maria, right. |
Princess Aleccandra, the eldest, wanted to become a famous Actress. It was harder than she expected, and it seems like that plan was ditched years ago. She appeared on a couple soap shows, but never reached out to anyone but her existing fans. Aged 35 she married to The Honorable Sacariaz Mandrake, and they reside in House de Mandrake's main seat since hundreds of years, at Porto Luminoso, Tartosa. However, because they never had any children, Princess Aleccandra never became a full member of her husband's house, also meaning his house might be in trouble when it comes to a next generation.
It's of course worth mentioning that Aleccandra's husband, The Baron de Tartosa, is the brother of our Queen Venezia.

These days Princess Aleccandra (60) and Princess Hortenzia (55) have not been seen together since several years, despite living quite close. Instead they do attend events alone, especially Aleccandra. They were never seen with their half-brother at Isla Paradiso, so there were probably no contact with him in the past. Both Prince Barris and Astoria died more than 25 years ago.
