Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

Pepperstones become Tenants

(Year 231 Fall) Former President and wife, Laurent & Aronica Pepperstone have moved from Tredony to San Sequoia. They are now tenants of royal property, Sunneva House, located as Gilbert Gardens, a very old estate, but renovated a couple decades ago.

Laurent Pepperstone (60) was Mazaloom's President representing the LEFT party until last year. Like most ex-Presidents do, Pepperstone withdrew from his party's core group, but he is currently the Mayor of Region 3 Tredony. This is not changing as he moves addresses from Region 3 to Region 6.

- Mayors that are elected for 5 years are found locally, but they are allowed to move elsewhere after the election if they can still tend to their obligations. Even in a different region, he explains. - If the party requests it, I will reconsider my position. And I can of course not be re-elected for Region 3 unless I move back before the Year 235 election. So far I decided to make it work.

The Pepperstones recently moved to Sunneva House, a nice property owned by the Mazaloom Royal Trust (which is the Crown).

- We love it here in San Sequoia, and the distance to Tredony is nothing extreme. We can get there in two hours, his wife Aronica P. Pepperstone smiles. - Sunneva House is very nice. The lot is small but the park is next door. And we do find its backstory interesting. It's said that King Wizar, the 4th Monarch of Mazaloom (Y48-118) bought the place for his sick Queen Sunneva. The queen moved here every Winter to recover in a warmer climate.

The house is rather spacious, although there is only one living room.
- Her portrait is on the wall but most furniture might be newer. The floors of the house are original, and we think the wallpapers in this room is based on the original. I wish I could show you more, but we would need to have an agreement with the Royal Palace Office to do so, and we don't.

First floor also contains a large kitchen with servant accommodation, and a study. Upstairs there are 3 large bedrooms. The couple rents the house from the Royal Trust, meaning they might need to move out as soon as the four children of the King and Queen grows up, as Sunneva House is possibly reserved for one of them. The Pepperstones will rent for minimum 10 years though. They don't have children.

Outside, Laurent Pepperstone shows us the small, but effectively arranged garden. It includes a front garden, a stable with room for just one horse, a small greenhouse, a gardening area and a small apple tree orchard.

- We are both involved with politics, and not so much with agriculture. I like gardening, though, and I don't mind that the contract suggests that we run this place to maintain self-sufficiency. We will not keep a horse, my wife dislikes Horse Riding, so the stable might be used by our bicycles. But we got a sweet goat named Duke, a chicken coop and some bees. And we will of course do our best to tend the garden crops. Enough to keep our needs at a satisfying level.

So, come Year 235; will Laurent Pepperstone run for Mayor of Region 6?
- It  would be up to the LEFT party to pick their candidates. I might run, but it is still a couple years until the next election will be prepared. I think we, my wife and I, shall first focus on producing enough food to survive the coming years.
