Gossips #12

(Year 232, Summer) Hello! I'm back with more gossips in this 12th edition! This time we'll cover most regions of the kingdom.

So much is going on! We just started Summer, which includes both the social season and several sports arrangement, but to get away with my long list of gossips, I figured we need this edition before the serious stuff comes along!

We will start our round with the royal palace.

We knew that HRM King Tarriot is a devoted Archaeologist, and we just heard that he is currently in Sea kingdom to explore the Selvadoradian  jungle. There are now rumors that the monarch's younger brother, HRH Prince Blaise, who is part of the expedition, has complained about the conditions. Although the group brings 12 servants and path finders, Prince Blaise is the one damaging his bare hands from clearing numerous portals in the jungle.

Royal Palace Office states that the two brothers are close friends and they are both in great physical shape. The fact that Prince Blaise is the one clearing the portals might be an intern challenge or joke between them, as several path finders are actually used to clear those entrances and probably also expect to get involved.

The expedition will last for a full week. The group has, against the advice from RPO, insisted on leaving behind all their communication assets, but the local path finders will probably have ways to reach out in case of emergency.

Now, let's head to our most northern region, Windenburg!

This town is into a a bowling craze! In the basement of one of the oldest bars in Windenburg's oldtown, a bowling hall was opened. Locals - and a few more distant guests - now flock to build their skills. Will they join the very first bowling tournament taking place later this year?

One visitor in particular got everyone's attention; superstar and recently also Baroness of Portefino, Suzi "Sushi" Stench! She traveled all the way from Del Sol Valley. She is said to be hooked on bowling, and we can't wait to see whether she actually signed up for the tournament! More about that further down...

Still in Windenburg, it was reported that Priest Ezais (de Porportoza), serving the Crafthole parish, does anything he can to impress High Priest Ansgar (Profedius). The latter resides and serves in Windenburg, and Priest Ezais was observed visiting the Windenburg Vicarage.

We do now that the Tredony parish will need a new Priest from next year, could it be that Priest Ezais wants to move from Copperdale to Tartosa? He hails from Tredony, and it would certainly make sense if he wants to return to his birth region. But, it will be the High Priest and the Board that decide these things. I guess all Priest Ezais can do now is to pray - or stay...

How abut region 2 Rossie - anything interesting happening over there?

In Britechester we find the royal household of HRH Prince Blaise. Well, his wife, HH Princess Duella is not considered a member of the royal House of Luxe-Hamper, because the late Queen Evez died before Prince Blaise married, but Duella and their 2 children are indeed princes and princesses of the royal family. Princess Evendice (25) just grew up to young adult and will shortly be heading for University where she will study Language & Literature, while Prince Marquis (23) is a teenager for a couple more years.

Princess Evendice was never very enthusiastic about formal family photos, and to be honest she looked rather bored when they all gathered for the celebration of the Crown Princess' 20th birthday. Perhaps Evendice had just been told that she would not be joining the Selvadrada expedition? She is not into the practical sides of Archaeology, but she has revealed that she is interested in the past and would like to work with documentation regarding those old treasures.

Her mother, HH Princess Duella was observed with a new haircut! While it suits her well, it obviously is a not so great match with earrings. We can only assume that she was wearing something nice and expensive, but unfortunately they were  hidden by her hair. Whoever did her hair this time should be forced to take a break from their job! Because we all want to see that bling!

Now - over to my home hood, Henford-on-Bagley!

I'm not really acquainted with the household at Shiningham Hall (Finchwick), but someone (probably their butler, but I would never leak my sources!) sent me a picture showing Lady Elvy R. Ross (74) on fire! She is married to Lord Bennet Ross (47), younger brother of Duke Jarret of Rossie. They reside Shiningham Hall until the duke's oldest son, Baron Robert of Shiningham, gets old enough to move in.

Lord Bennet and Lady Elvy have two sons, besides Elvy's son from a previous marriage also resides there. The young man extinguishing the flames is their oldest son  Rabbert (15), and next to him is Raptus (6).

And don't you think that I forgot Del Sol Valley!

Not much to report from the center of celebrities, though, except the never resting Judith Ward stating yet another suggestion for the community!

This time she wants to drag attention to the fact that the Ward Park was gifted to the community by her late husband, awarded movie director Simerin Ward. This year it is 25 years since the park opened in Year 207! A secret source told me that according to a private conversation, Judith wants her own statue to decorate Ward Park! This comes shortly after the turning down of her suggestion of an exclusive Ward Room at the Plumbob Pictures Museum.

Now, a quick stop at the lovely and pleasant Tartosa!

It was revealed this Spring that Del Sol Valley might actually join Region 3 as part of the ongoing regional reform. The future region will keep its name, Tredony, despite Del Sol Valley having so many more residents. There exist historical links between the two neighboring districts, as Tredony was a very central location during the Medieval era. But enough history for now...

The local House de Froux, including Princess Hortenzia, just announced that they are thinking of moving away from Tartosa!

Chalbert de Froux Mester Sangiovese (68) refused revealing details, so the rumor makers got free hands to make up their own stories. One is that now that Baron Sacariaz de Tartosa is focusing more on nectar making, Chalbert and Princess Hortenzia might sell less of their nectar. They represent some of the traditional nectars which they also sell from their own little shop. Some suggested that Princess Hortenzia is in a personal conflict with her sister, Princess Aleccandra, who is married to Baron Sacariaz. They used to be the scandalous  «Party Princesses», but are no longer seen together. Another reason might be that the Froux' main heir, Ms Floria (25) just became young adult, and besides not taking over the House quit yet, their old estate is obviously too small for them all. So, maybe she decided to move away, and her parents chose to join her? Uhm, I'd totally freak out if my own parents behaved that way...

Another interesting house in Tartosa is of course House of Hoffstar, lead by Baroness Amalia de Vert.

In the photo session at the Crown Princess' 20th birthday, Amalia (31) and her husband Robbiam (44, of the local House de Buttercups) grabbed the very centered position of the photo, right behind Crown Princess Emireza! We know Amalia always had this strong need of attention. Growing up with the royal children (her half-siblings) normally placed her in the shadows.

Recently Amalia announced that their 2nd child was born with green eyes, which is required by letter of patent in bringing on the Vert barony. We assume this means Amalia will not try for any more children, as she is said to detest kids in general - probably caused by her own difficult childhood.

Another highly ranked house in Tartosa is House de Luminoso.

Few years ago HH Prince Jerome (Count de Tredony), head of this house, decided to break off royal House of Luxe-Hamper and rather form his own House de Luminosa. This was explained by none of his household being central members of House of Luxe-Hamper, due to him being the last member of his line. Back then, his wife, Countess Bequeenie de Tredony (pictured), preferred clinging to the royal family name. She has the right to use the plain Princess title, but as the Countess title comes with a higher rank it is obviously why she never used the royal family title. However, now that both their sons are grown ups, also Bequeenie decided to take the new civil lastname, Luminoso.

Btw, did you know that Countess Bequeenie is the cousin of Malcolm Landgraab? Now you do!

On to someone living nearby, not of royal heritage at all...

Author Mr Victor Fabe Altham (51) rents the Piccola Luce from King Tarriot. Lately he was joined by his girlfriend, Cathrina Ferny (33) from Oasis Springs. I have been commenting on their relation previously. The couple shared this photo on Simstagram. It is of interest because Cathrina is the daughter of Court Chamber member, Lawyer Anita Ferny, and Victor is only child of Lord Floyd Altham (94), who is 3rd in line to the Advorton county.

Now, off to Region 4 Crafthole!

The Copperdale funfair is open again after that evil-llama-occupies-haunted-house episode!

Not far from this fun atraction we find the Crafthole vicarage.

Priest Ezais (yes, the one who is reported smirking for the High Priest in Windenburg) has started meditation classes. Rumors have it that he actually sleeps while his pupils do their meditation exercise!

At Prescott Square, still in Copperdale, Politician Bill Loffertop (65) is claiming more funds for local sports initiatives.

Could it have anything to do with the same Loffertop leading the new bowling organization, currently preparing for their very first tournament? He just reported that 12 persons registered for the contest that will take place this Fall. Only 8 contenders will make it to the real cup, and late Summer the heat will fight over those 8 spots. We got no info on who registered yet, but Bill Loffertop himself and his life partner, Politician/Jeweller Bianca Sterner, might both be in the game!

Also Moonwood Mill is in the Crafthole region:

This secluded community hardly ever gets any attention. Fact is the Count of Crafthole resides here, and referring to the ongoing regional reform, this county might become secondary to a higher ranked noble peerage. The problem is they do not yet know for sure what region Crafthole will merge with!

Count Jacop of Crafthole (47) will not lose his county, but because there can be only one District Order per region, his current Crafthole District Order might be taken away. This will happen if Crafthole joins Region 2 Rossie, where there is already a duke, or Region 1 Windenburg, where there is also a duke. There is a third possibility, that is not very likely, that Crafthole will join one of the new regions that will come from the splitting of today's large Region 12 Mazaloom.

Without the district order, Count Jacop will no longer be considered high nobility and therefore also lose rank and certain benefits.

Countess Benedicta is not very with the situation. She is known as a very shy and private person, hardly taking part in any socializing. Although she probably is fine with becoming low nobility shutting a few doors, she is said to worry sick about how the degrading will affect their finances.

Another household of Monwood that might deserve some focus, is the Buttercups:

Andolph de Buttercups (79) is the brother of late wife of Priest Christoph in Tartosa. Their father, late Juliam de Buttercups, was the 6th President of Mazaloom (Y185-190). Andolph himself is no longer political active, but he married Politician Launi Bitten (55) who is a member of MIDDLE Party's core  group, and they had a daughter. Launi is Andolph's 3rd wife!

Andolph de Buttercups has an old rescued white horse, and they are often seen riding about in Moonwood Mill. He is no good Equestrian, though, the horse might be intended for his daughter?

Let's head over to San Sequoia, located in our most southern region!

There are rumors that Lord Vince de Croismare (45) is training for the upcoming Queen Evez showjumping contest!

Well, he is already an awarded equestrian, but because he and his wife just had twins, the lord was not very active outside their home, recently.

There is also some gossip involving the photo booth located at the Aarbyville Recreation Center.

It's said that locals use the booth more for woohoos than for taking their photos! Well, it is most certainly just a rumor. There are now instructions of placing at least one photo booth in every region, and the regional recreation centers will probably be the typical location for this, not only in Region 6 Aarbyville.

Did I mention equestrians?

Caretaker at the Chestnut Equestrian Training Grounds, Stian Pratt-Anderson (57), won last year's yellow ribbon  from the Equestrian Foals club!

Prat-Anderson did a good job bringing the Training Grounds back to life during his one year break from his job with royal security. He is reportedly still single, but looking!

Finally - ready for some gossips from our largest region, Region 12?

Let's start in Brindleton Bay! As Old-Duchess Claudine died this Spring, her youngest son, Lord Leon de Cavalier (37), moved in at Hindquarter Manor. And I just got this fresh picture from his wedding!

The bride was his long term girlfriend, Bonita Roxenfox (36). She is distantly related to the deceased Old-Duchess, who was born into House of Roxenfox. Old-Duchess and Bonita hails from different lines, though. Bonita just got her university degree, and Lord Leon can soon be seen in a new lead role in the film «Love on the Rocks», premiering this Fall. The couple is said to establish at Hindquarter Manor, which is private property of Lord Leon's older brother, Duke Charlopold de Cavalier. Bonita is sole heir to a finer estate in Newcrest, but her parents are still active.

In Newcrest we have no real nobility, but Mrs Corinne Dougham holds the low nobility title Mester Crestville.

Here she is seen guesting the concert to celebrate Duke Vibrattore de Aarbyville's 50th birthday. She is said to be extremely focused on status, and to be honest - being among the wealthiest women of the kingdom, such a narrow focus might suit her well. We all wonder where she will find decent spouses for all her three children. The triplets are in their teens, but unfortunately they rank way below the league of dukes and couts.

Corinne Dougham is the Aunt of the mentioned Bonita Roxenfox.

Our next stop is Oasis Springs!

Baron Auphor of Verde (91) was always a demanding character for me to understand. He never played by the rules of aristocracy.

He was born into the Meadows dukedom, and he was the Duke for several decades. But when his first wife was killed in a car crash aged only 40, he had some sort of a mental breakdown. Later he applied for his son to take over the dukedom while Auphor was still alive, which is very unusual because those peers are lifetime. However the request was accepted! To allow his son to also become head of the House of Saxor, Auphor took a new family name, Sax-Donnersmalt and married again.

Now he is a very old man, and locals of Oasis Springs awaits his death with sadness. He will eventually leave behind wife and 3 young children, but his oldest son and therefore rightful main heir is the current Duke Victus of Meadows. He will be 1st in line to the Verde barony, meaning there will not be much left for the current Baroness Morgan of Verde and her children. We all feel a bit sorry for her, but these rules are very old, and I doubt the Royal Chamber will make any more exceptions from rules, involving the same man.

Finally, lets close up this 12th edition with some scary rumors from StrangerVille!

It's official that HRM King Tarriot and President Rob Wilder attended a closed meeting with Grand Marshal Robert Calves. It all took place at the Old Penelope Military HQ in StrangerVille.

Now there are rumors that the discussions actually included war strategies, and not only loose discussions regarding the conflict with Empire of Snorthia! Is a war coming up? Le's hope not! Le's hope that even the Emperor of Snorthia realizes that a full scale war would be a bit too much of a reaction to an old painting not being as holy as they once thought! Because this was all started by a silly painting!

Someone sent me this photo that was found on Grand Marshal's office desk:

An unidentified car has been observed in StrangerVille, not far from the Military HQ, sending signals in the middle of the night, or even spying on military communication! Could this car be doing this in alliance with the Empire of Sorthia? Are we all in danger?

Well, that's all for now! I hope my gossips won't keep you awake. But - if you can't sleep, you can always reread the entire edition or any of my 11 previous editions that are still available, too! :)
