Selvadorada: Royal Expedition Brings Home Treasure!

(Year 232, Summer) The royal expedition into the Selvadoradian jungle has come to an end. When HRM King Tarriot, HRH Prince Blaise and their 12 servants and path finders returned to Puerto Llamante Marketplace, they proudly revealed a long searched for treasure: three pieces of the ancient Achilles set!

But first, we'll enjoy a few photos from the expedition, all taken by the servant who unfortunately was killed by a snake only one hour before the group returned. Bless him!

The team left Puerto Llamante on horses, that were used only for the first step into the jungle.

Then, the group was left with their feet and bare hands. King Tarriot had insisted on leaving all modern electronics behind. We don't know if he knew that the 12 servants and pathfinders had each their cell phone, but even so, the connection is normally quite poor in the deep jungle.

King Salomar of Sea followed them to the long bridge that by many is seen as the true gate to the adventures.

From there the two brothers were all by themselves. Their team was either one hour before or after, we never actually got this stated. Neither do we know what servant took this photo:

The goal for this expedition was basically to wind down. Both King Tarriot and Prince Blaise are known to be dedicated Archaeologists. They were looking for both artifacts, crystals and minerals. They did explore the jungle temple in the past, and this time the hidden locations were of less interest.

However, the group did find spectacular old ruins.

And beautiful sights.

Wen they returned from the jungle they could proudly reveal that among the old treasures they found, were several pieces of the long searched for Achilles set!

The set most likely contain five unique pieces, so there are still a couple left for adventurers to discover.

King Tarriot and Prince Blaise got everyone's attention when displaying the three Achilles set items at the Cantina. King Salomar, who is now elderly, insisted on King Tarriot to keep his finds. They are the originals while the Selvadorian Museum displays copies, but in the jungle there is only one base rule - finder's keep! However, King Tarriot insisted on another jungle saying - when finding multiple items, one item is to be handed to your host. By those words King Salmar was hand the vase, right side on the picture above. The nectar cup and nectar pitcher will come to Mazaloom shortly, and after cleansing and analyzes, these items might be displayed to the public.

The nearly two weeks long visit came to an end. King Salomar and Queen Medaka hosted a formal reception for their royal guests and the eleven remaining servants and pathfinders. After confiscating the Chieftain's Villa in Sulani two years ago, the king and queen moved back to their Palace of Lilies last year, joined by their youngest son Prince Weever. He was not observed during the feast, though, so speculations on whether he might be on the shortlist of our Crown Princess Emireza's future spouses can still not be confirmed.

We expect thee treasures to be exhibited either at the Royal Palace or by Mazaloom National Museum some time in the future.
