(Year 232, Summer) The royal expedition into the Selvadoradian jungle has come to an end. When HRM King Tarriot, HRH Prince Blaise and their 12 servants and path finders returned to Puerto Llamante Marketplace, they proudly revealed a long searched for treasure: three pieces of the ancient Achilles set!
But first, we'll enjoy a few photos from the expedition, all taken by the servant who unfortunately was killed by a snake only one hour before the group returned. Bless him!
The team left Puerto Llamante on horses, that were used only for the first step into the jungle.
Then, the group was left with their feet and bare hands. King Tarriot had insisted on leaving all modern electronics behind. We don't know if he knew that the 12 servants and pathfinders had each their cell phone, but even so, the connection is normally quite poor in the deep jungle.
King Salomar of Sea followed them to the long bridge that by many is seen as the true gate to the adventures.
The nearly two weeks long visit came to an end. King Salomar and Queen Medaka hosted a formal reception for their royal guests and the eleven remaining servants and pathfinders. After confiscating the Chieftain's Villa in Sulani two years ago, the king and queen moved back to their Palace of Lilies last year, joined by their youngest son Prince Weever. He was not observed during the feast, though, so speculations on whether he might be on the shortlist of our Crown Princess Emireza's future spouses can still not be confirmed.
We expect thee treasures to be exhibited either at the Royal Palace or by Mazaloom National Museum some time in the future.
