Detesters - Season 2 - Chapter 2 - Moving in

Well, I'm excited to find out how the girls, Sally and Sabina, will do as they grow up, and guess what - today they will at least grow a little bit older! Probably the longest toddler stage in history :-)

Pauline and Hector Detester just moved to Galucca* with the daughters Sally and Sabina, and the ever farting dog, Sabby. They spent last night at Seagull Cottage**, and will today move in at their new home here in Galucca!

Pauline: I'll never sett foot again in this trashy hotel nest wannabe! First toasts for breakfast and then grilled cheese for lunch!

Hector: It was pretty good, Pauline. Nice hosts. I'm glad you missed when you threw that piece of grilled cheese at the poor Wooblershield woman.

Pauline: One thing is for sure - if you packed the old grilled cheese painting, it will not be allowed in our living room!

Hector: Right Pauline... uhm... now that we have a brilliant painting artist in our household, your work will cover our decoration needs.

Mr. Midfunger: Hello again! Galucca Imports, Inc. has completed your new home!

Hector: How exciting!

Mr. Midfunger: The house is owned by Galucca Imports, Inc., but you are allowed to make changes. You will work from your home, not in our main offices, behind me. Please follow me!

Pauline: Oh, argh... but, that looks like our old home in Twinbrokes!

Mr. Midfunger: That's correct Mrs. Detester! We did everything we could to make you feel at home!

Pauline: But, I was expecting a modern testhouse. Modern architecture... nice loungers by the pool...this stinks!

Hector: This is fantastic! Thank you, Mr. Midfunger! Look, Sabina, we're home! What's inside?

Mr. Midfunger: It's empty inside. You will be allowed to equip it the way you like, by using imported goods only. Nothing from base game, EPs or SPs. But Store is concidered imported goods and might even need testing.

Hector: What? EPs...?

Mr. Midfunger: Sorry, that's testsim terms, I thought you were familiar with them. No? Anyways, here's the keys.

Mr. Midfunger: I assume the new backyard is a bit larger than your old place. The tower over there, that's the entrance to our storage. All imported stuff is stored down there.

Pauline: We're becoming underground workers now? You forgot to tell me this, Hector!

Hector: I had no idea!

Pauline: I bet you forgot to read the small print. Perhaps you need new glasses, like your dead mom did when she became elderly...

Mr. Midfunger: So, this is the main storage, on this floor is the seating department. All objects are organized by function, over there are the official items, and over there are the imports. When new objects are delivered, you will test them and compare them to what is already here. No need to keep something that is nearly a copy of what we got, see? There is a separate floor for testing and paperwork. I left detailed instructions in the office, and I will contact you every morning over the next week to make sure everything works well.

Hector: Oh my! But... we can't carry the larger items up and down these stairs...

Pauline: It's to dark down here! I can't see a thing!

Mr. Midfunger: More lighting will be provided. The big fire caused massive damages some months ago, and... will be fixed shortly!

Pauline: Who will help us carrying the furniture we want over to the house?

Mr. Midfunger: You will manage. There is the elevator for deliveries, over there. Within a week you should be pretty well set.

Hector: But there are so many nice things to choose from! How can we possibly decide!

Pauline: I will decide!

One sofa, rug, floor lamp and wallhanging later. Sally is the blond and Sabina is the dark haired. Looks like Sally inherited most of her lovely mom's personality, while Sabina seems to reflect Hector.

Hector: Yes, Sabina, it's your birthday, and yes Sally, it's your birthday, too! How exciting is that!

Sabina: Citing!

Sally: Silly! Stop Sabina! Cing!

Hector: Now, we'll just let mom have her nap, and then we will celebrate!

Sabina: Bate!

Sally: Beat!

Hector: Come on, girls! We don't know what our new neighbourhood offers yet, but this looks like a nice place to celebrate!

Sally: I'm hungry!

Pauline: Argh, all this walking! I need another nap!

Sabina: Oh, look at those nice green heads! And see those trees!

Sally: I want my burger!

Pauline: I doubt we can afford anything at this place, Hector... it looks expensive!

Hector: Let's see what we can find!

Hector: This is nice!

Sally: Just one burger for both of us?

Pauline: It was too expensive, Sally. Sabina got to start because she is 30 minutes older.

Sabina: Yummy! I'll soon hand it over, siss!

Hector: Did anyone see old Sabby?

Sabina: He is still inside the food shop, sniffing the food...

Pauline: And farting on the food, I guess... we should go fetch him...

Hector: Oh, dear, it can't be that bad!

Pauline: Uhm, who's those two strange persons looking at us? Are they guards or something?

Sally: Sabina!!! Hand it over!

Sabina: Haven't had my half yet! Just a little more!

Sally: But I'm the hungriest!

Hector: So, so, girls. Behave, or you'll upset the other restaurant guests.

Pauline: We should do some grocery shopping on our way back home. I spot a store over there! Now, we didn't move in a refrigerator, yet, did we?

Hector: Guess not... so we'll have toasts for breakfast tomorrow then... but no cheese, I swear!
