While the venues for careers like Medicine, Police and Science will be added to existing worlds, the GTW EP comes with a new hood called Magnolia Promenade. This is where the premade retail businesses are located, but you can of course benefit from the features on any community lot in your world.
Magnolia Promenade comes with four new business lots. The street looks cozy, and is it the harbor we see back there? Looks like blue waters...
The new hood comes with outdoors too, and the environment looks pretty nice, seeming to be set in the region of Willow Creek.
You can run any store you like, selling just anything from the buy catalog, collected stuff or items created by your sim.
There is a new cooking skill, and the premade bakery comes with a basement kitchen, while customers buy and eat food on ground floor. Yummy!
There is also a photographing skill, and you can sell your work in your own gallery. Mind that painting portraits is also back, and a painting can be based on a picture taken with your sim's cell phone. It has also been confirmed that selfies that ar initiated by you, will leave a photo in the sim's inventory - and can be hung onto a wall :)
Your sim can hire employees for the retail store, it seems like 3 employees is a limit. The employee's retail skills affect their pay, but also how good your business wil run. You can set their uniforms.
