Sabrina Clump no longer lives alone. Jamiels Grossing moved in with her, from Willow Field, Gloomville. He is much better situated than Sabrina, and he doesn't like this tiny and filthy flat in Spice Market.
The flat is even smaller than you might think, because the owner decided to make it into 2 units.
Sabrina's cousin, Sybil Harrell, lives alone in the other unit.
In their bedroom there is a mouse hole, and the activity keeps them from getting a good night's sleep. Some nights they sleep on the couch in the living room, but there is something spelling real bad in there making them dizzy. Now that Sabrina is pregnant they really need to find somewhere else to live. They can't raise a child in this place! Sabrina can't afford a much better flat, but Jamiels has more money, and if everything turns out nicely between them, there might even be a wedding as they move. But to where?
Next door resides the Rasoya household. Widow Geeta cares about her young adult son, Raj, who is still single. And he also keeps track on everything her neighbors do.
A rather curious person she is, but always meaning well. Now she decided to join the «Housewives' Society», but was rejected because she isn't well enough skilled in parenting! What an insult! She raised Raj 24/7 and still does. Yet, she had to pick up a book on the subject, because when Geeta decides to achieve something, she goes with her goals!
She even invited the single neighbour, Sybil Harrell, over to eat with them. Of course Geeta wanted to help Raj to meet some single women, sooner or later there has to be a good match!
Over at the Arts Quarter resides the Gupta family. Myra is head of the household, married with August (Clump, cousin of both Sabrina Clump and Sybil Harrell), he origins from the Clump household of Newcrest (base for the recently closed Five Units Challenge). Myra and August have 2 teen children, Dora and Donald.
They rent a huge flat with plenty of room. Myra works as a journalist, right now she returned from the festival down in the street, and is trying to write a review for a magazine. But she's got the headache, and it's hard concentrating.
Let's jump over to the poor hood of Gloomville. In Muggerdale lives the Schweini household. Not much changed since they settled here ages ago. Corinne is dead, and Miri is getting very old. Kids Rambo and Sculla are both young adults, Rambo facing a bithday.
This household was always poor, their house filthy, and they had little contact with their neighbors. It's well known they are half criminal, besides they practice all kinds of black magic. Especially late Corinne was into all those mystic stuff. The cats were also Corinne's idea, now they are just a burden.
Sculla wants to leave Muggerdale, but being very poor - and perhaps not looking too good either, she never had any lasting crush or romance. She might just find a small flat in the city, maybe things would improve if she just left this place?
Rambo Schweini has been with better luck! Last new years eve he took to a karaoke bar in the city, and there he met a nice woman, Cheyenne Breen. She is a little older than Rambo, but they immediately made a great contact, and the night was a blast.
Ronald doesn't know much about Cheyenne, but he is very much in love. Besides, she seems to have a little money, which wouldn't be a bad thing now that he is about to overtake the old house in Muggerdale.
At the opposite edge of Gloomville, the wealthy Upperton hood, is the rich von Kaching household. Since many years the acclaimed painting artist Vince Remerez rented a room. Rose von Kaching runs a gallery and because Vince has a very good reputation, she probably found it valuable to include him in their household.
Most richer families got their portraits painted by Vince. But he also found great pleasure in portraying the red haired teen daughter of the house, Aili. Rose is not very happy for their relation, though. The house will go to their son, who is already young adult, but there might be plans for a better mate for Aili.
Vince hardly had any romances. He is experimental and openminded, and never was in a hurry for anything. So, big was his surprise when he visited Planet Honey Pop! in the Fashion District of the city, and was totally blown away by a young woman performing on stage. She left in a hurry, and Vince never had the chance to introduce himself. She looked familiar, was she some sort of a model?
Finally, a quick stop at Whiskerman's Wharf at Brindleton Bay.
The Sutton family has resided there since long, and finally their only child, Robert Sutton got engaged! Carolina Harrell grew up in the Spice Market (yupp, sister of Sybil), but she is rather successful by nature, and although the upcoming marriage won't bring the Sutton's social status anywhere closer to the upper class, Robert's parents, Zack and Alma, had no objections. They both see that Robert is happy, and it's on time they get some grandchildren while they are still around.
More soon!
