Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

As Days Go By - y212 - Picture thread

I've just completed year 212, and here is a new update. But first some quick info that might be useful in case you follow my blog. I have shifted a bit between the titles "As Sims Go By" and "As Days Go By". It might be a little confusing using them both, but for future updates the former (Sims) will be used for the upcoming machinima movie series, while the latter (Days) will be used for these blog picture posts. Some sims will feature on both brances, but you will not need to follow both.

So, with that out of the way, here's y212!

Oups - first a few images from year 211...

Sabrina Clump still resides the tiny flat at Spice Market.  Jamiels Grossing moved in, and they had a daughter, Carla. There's mice living in the bedroom wall, and Sabrina wants them to move to something better.

Jamiels agreed, although they are not yet married, they are a family of 3. He is richer than Sabrina, and they might afford a small house in the countryside!

They found a house! Jamiels bought a nice house at Cavalier Cove, Brindleton Bay.

Carla will love growing up here, close to the ocean, lots of dogs and cats in the area. And that's when I discovered something crazy...

When Catla was hungry, Jamiels could feed her a rose!!!

Back in San Myshuno, I saw something for the very first time:

Locals protesting autonomously! It's probably not a big deal, but I never saw this before, so yay - it works!

We'll stop by at Upperton, Gloomville's better hood. Ludwig Bootwig died recently, and made Constanza a widow. Her son, Hugo, is still a single. He quit his tech guru ambitions, and started a scientist career instead.

In my game there are funeral rules. And there are a few cementaries establiished recently. Burrying Ludwig was easy enough, but releasing his spirit is much tougher... These rules will get more explained in a tips&tricks movie coming soon.

At Muggerdale the half criminal Schwaini family got a new household member, Ms Cheyenne Breen.

She is engaged to the son of the house, and just gave birth to twins! But she was rather horrified by the filthy house! Actually the worst she had ever seen!

She cleaned for a full hour, but could hardly see a difference...

Next door I came acccross a rare situsation. The Raven teens, Frits and Elma, were burning a pile of leaf. Then Elma stepped into the fire, like if she was a doomed witch or something...

I never saw this before. Oh, Elma Raven survived...

And back to the Schwaini house, I found old Miri trying to help his soon to be daughter in law. But he ended up cleaning one of the cats instead... funny :)

In Upperton, Gloomville, wealthy Bud von Kaching is practicing chess with their butler.

Bud is a member of the Region 12 Council. You will meet him in the upcoming series, As Sims Go By.

In Brindleton Bay, Fanny Silverbone just moved in with her two dogs. She left SimCity behind, and plans to make a living from breeding and training dogs, and painting a little on the side.

Fanny is alone, she has not yet decided whether she should join the Singles Club. They often have meetings in San Myshuno, and Fanny is done with city life for now.

This year is ending. At Upperton, Charlotta Crumpleton just got a job promition. And she hates her ny uniform! Would it help to aim for another promotion?

It's Winter fest, but Charlotta is not into such traditions. She lives with her retired mom, the feared journalist Wilma Fionella B. Crumpleton. But what's on in the fire place? Could it be Father Winter arriving?

Outside it was feeezng, but still those risky females wandered the hood wearing their thin dresses. I don't think they froze to death, some get more luck than they deserve...

More in a week!
