Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

As Sims Go By - Year 211 - Picture Post

My new approach for this blog will be the project "As Sims Go By" (movie series) accomplished by "As Days Go By" (blog picture posts). There will be a couple movies every month (I hope), focusing on both how I play the game and what's going on in certain families. But I will also share a few tidbits as picture posts, and here is the first. Actually, there was one previously when cats and dogs were moving in.

So, my families have been frozen in the year 210 for ages, but finally their clocks are ticking again! With seasons comes the calendar, which is a superb addition for pushing both game play and stories forward!

Starting with a funny picture of farmer Agaton Oaksdale. He runs Oaksdale Farm with his wife Sonia and their daughter. Hm, formerly named Willow Farm, I don't recall whether there was a formal name change, actually...

Agaton got his first bee hive delivered this year, and one day he walked outside to check on them, he passed a wall mirror and was very upset seeing that he was wearing pink earrings with the suit! He is a down to earth guy, although he might look like a nun on this picture... ;)

Next door resides the Mox family. You might recall them from my Gloomville Diaries, plus this house is based on the "Sims By Numbers" show (2014). Ochana and Chad are still around, but Edith is the new master of the house. She is not as enthusiastic about their garden, established by her twin sister Miranda, so Edith decided to take work as a Florist instead of growing potato, or whatever.

This family still holds the secret diary project, but because time rolling, anything diary related will be implemented in "As Sims Go By".

Just a funny picture from the poor Clump family living in the city. Some elderly family member is watching TV with gnomes and a mouse :)

This guy is dead, but he lived in a rented flat with his twin brother and their wives. They had a total of 3 daughters, and you might meet some of them. Btw, the Clump family is featured in my "Five Units Challenge" - about to be completed these days)

Sabrina Clump is one of those 3 girls. She is already an adult, but she still lives in the tiny rental flat. Recently Jamiels Grossing (from Willow Fields, Gloomville) moved in. He is better situated, maybe Sabrina will finally be able to move to a better flat? Any way, they must have been good this year, because Father Winter visited!

Bach in Gloomville's porch Upperton hood, we find the Bootwig family. They have worked hard to get accepted by the much richer von Kaching and Crumpleton families. Son of the house, Hugo Constantinus Bootwig is finally young adult, and he is the only child and sole heir. After lots of pushing from his mother Constanza, he finally dated a girl!

You would think the date (at home) was successful when your girl leaves waving her arms cheering...

... until you realize she was only trying to stop the tram.

Constanza Bootwig adores her son and guards him closely. She want him to rather marry one of the neighor girls, that would mean a solid boost when it comes to neighborhood status. Only one creature is more valuable to Constanza, her sweet little dog, Gold.

Finally Constanza and old Ludwig got to meet Hugo's girlfriend. But what does really a well fit, vegetarian girl think about eating burgers with a big, gluttony and possible future mother-in-law?

The Bootwig family is featured in my movie "One Year in Gloomville".

Edith Mox had her first sales day! Thanks Similius the heavy rain stopped, because her only option was a street sale. She sold a few, but did not make all the money she hoped for, but this will probably improve as she gets better at arranging the flowers.

Edith also worked a little as a comedian, and recently she worked as a model. She did not marry, - the picture above is from a film shot at San Myshuno Meadows for the soon to come "One Year in San Myshuno".

Edith's twin sister Miranda moved to Mugger Farm this year, but her younger twin siblings, Paula and Pivian still live at home. Paula works after school, and one night she was seen in the local Willow field park, grilling lots of food. In the middle of the night! Who will eat all that food? What are you thinking, girl?

Just a quick stop to Oasis Springs! This district has a warmer climate, instead of Summer and Winter, they have hot Summer and chilly Summer. When there is a heat wave, you gotta find a way to cool down! This is Ona Rosewood, formerly a "Sims By Numbers" contestant (the runner up, I think), now she works as a small scale Florist. Her hubby Josue is a Politician, actually representing the entire Oasis Springs district on the Region 12 Council, which you will learn more about in August. Ona and Josue have two teenagers.

Finally, just to mention that also another "Sims By Numbers" runner-up, Toby Twoller, resides in Oasis Springs. His little family has a small house in the poor hood Nookstone, but are looking for something bigger. Toby is a pretty well acclaimed musician, but this Summer he was observed playing his viola in the city. Maybe the bigger concert halls are closed mid Summer?

That's all for now! :)
