(Year 230, Spring) The Royal Chamber has addressed a warning to Bennet Ross, Baron of Shiningham (Henford-on-Bagley). It turns out that Bennet Ross (45) has been using the title Baron of Shiningham including the peerage's apple symbol illegally for several years, actually ever since his older brother, Jarret Ross (60), took over the Rossie dukedom after their late father in Year 212. Up to then Jarret and his family had resided at Shiningham Hall, which is known as the base of the barony.
Lord Bennet Ross |
Bennet Ross has explained to The Royal Chamber that the baron title often follows the head male residing Shiningham Hall. His wife, Elvy Rab-Saxor Ross (72) has been known as Baroness of Shiningham, unrightfully. Their two young sons have both been styled "The Honorable", which can be done only if being child of a Baron or Count.
The Royal Chamber comments that House of Ross has a lot to correct and will be fined. It must all be tended to within Summer:
* Bennet Ross losing his title Baron of Shiningham title.
* Wife Elvy (Rab-Saxor) Ross losing her title Baroness of Shiningham.
* Son Rabbert Edwin Ross is no longer styled The Honorable.
* Son Raptus Ross is no longer styled The Honorable.
The correct titles will be Lord and Lady Bennet Ross, Mr Rabbert Edwin Ross and Mr Raptus Ross.
Shiningham Barony is dormant while peer Jarret Ross holds the Rossie dukedom.
