(Year 230, Fall) There were some rumors last year and now it is official; Clara (70) and Bjorn Bjergsen (74) are divorcing! The couple that used to be seen as Windenburg's perfect alliance, has decided to split up despite their relatively high age.
|
The couple has resided The Lighthouse on Windenburg Isle, a house that was originally built by Bjorn's father, Askild Bjergsen, and that Bjorn will keep. Clara is claiming 50% of their main possessions, but she will obviously prefer to keep her shares in Gobelin Fashion, Inc. over the house. Those shares were never registered as separate property, meaning they are seen as commonly owned. Unless lawyers get involved, Clare might find herself paying Bjorn, as shares are worth more than The Lighthouse.
Clara is a central member of the House of Gobelin, a family that a couple generations ago founded Gobelin Fashion in Windenburg and recently bought the store Wilder Fashions in San Myshuno. Clara will now take back her maiden name, Gobelin, while youngest daughter Elsa will be known as Elsa Bjergsen Gobelin. Is it Elsa who will save the House from extinction?
- Many new things are taking place in my life at once, Clara continues. - It looks like I will move to San Myshuno - if I only could find a nice apartment there.
- We grew very close, Clara G. Bjergsen reveals. - But then we hardly found time to eat dinner together. |
None of the two are involved with a new romantic affair, at least not officially.
