The Simmerville Show #4

(Year 230, Spring) Fritz Mervil is here with the 4th issue of The Simmerville Show, recorded at Fun Factory with guests and a live audience! This time the guests discuss a rare DNA defect and an upcoming trial, acting and not to forget a big challenge that is offered to one of the guests!

As usual, you might recognize a couple guests even if you don't follow this blog.

Fun fact: Did you know that the stage actually exists as part of the culture house called «Fun Factory», at Magnolia Promenade? This place is packed with rentable media production studios, meet & greet area, café, a small bar in the basement and even a restricted celebrity area. Random works made by visitors are put on the exhibition wall. This stage is rather small, with an attached costume+make-up room accessible only by stage crew. I think there are 30 seats for the audience.

Households of Mt. Komorebi: Ojo Family (+Karaoke)

(Year 230, Winter) I decided to share more about my many households, including some details on cultural and historical aspects. I like to open up those private homes, but it might also help me sorting out further paths and needed inspiration for my own game.

6th protected family of Komorebi:
Ojo Family

Protector of the Butterfly, Protected by the Chrysanthemum, Element Imperial Grace (Royality).

The most famous member of the Ojo family might be Miko Ojo, who moved to San Myshuno long ago. Her parents are still found in Mt. Komorebi, where her old father, Nicci Ojo (82) is still the family head.

Standing: Nayko (Komodo) (81), Nicci (82), Kocci (48), Zukade (Kibo) (31).
Children: Mikade (4), M iro (3) and Lolita (1).

Their old monogram shows an old butterfly. They were the Protector of Butterfly since the family was founded (Year 38), it is traditionally a great honor, although it might be the lightest responsibility as the butterfly symbolizes less worries, but at the same time requires a good environment. It travels from flower to flower, like the Ojo family seem to go from karaoke bar to karaoke bar. 

This family is said to origin from a Princess who was daughter of the defeated King of Komorebi in Year 40 (the Great Sloth Invasion). It can not be proven though, and today there is hardly any connection at all between the Ojo family and the Imperial Sloth family, as the Ojo currently belongs to the lowest rank of the Kurai.

Top 10 Wealthy Residents

(Year 230, Winter) So, let's take a look on the gossip-ish side of things. Who is the wealthiest resident of Mazaloom kingdom?

I keep pretty detailed lists of every resident's investments, stocks, land property, cash and other possessions like valuable heirlooms and jewelries. Head of top nobility houses will also possess the house's Trust. And some have large bank loans.

You can find most of these details in the online residents registry (history and heirlooms section, but some tidbits also list on the individual Profile pages. When a sim dies, heritage rules tick in, and in some cases the rank gets affected.

When all this sums up, who make it to the top 10 list of today?

Judith Ward Leaks own Appearance!

(Year 230, Winter) The Simmerville Show nevber reveals their guests beforehand, so this week most were taken by surprise when one of the guests of the soon to air show was leaked: Actress Judith B. Ward (66) claims to be guesting the popular show - and this info was leaked by Judith herself...

The global star has been guesting the Simmerville Show also in the past. This year she has been very active with lead role in two movies, where one of them were directed by herself.

We can't wait to find out what she will be talking about this time, and not the least - who are the other secret guests?

Major Trial coming up?

(Year 230, Winter) A large number of young citizens with the white eyes syndrom has formed a group to claim their rights. They claim to be children of the same man, all with different mothers. The case gets quite delicate as that man, a formerly highly respected Politician, was married.

The white eyes syndrom is quite rare. It means the eyes are all white, visually, a defect that shows from toddler stage. The carrier will have a normal eye quality, but to most it will be a physical burdon where they might choose to wear sunglasses on a cloudy day - indoors as well.

Investiture Day Year 230 - 3 Peers and 3 Knights

(Year 230, Winter) The annual royal court took place on Investiture Day, which is always 1st day of Winter. This year there were a total of 3 Peers and 3 Knights waiting to feel the weight of that sword on their shoulder. Peers obtain their inherited Peerage the minute they step up, but at royal court they get blessed as a Peer of the large Mazaloom peerage, and they get formally introduced to the aristocracy.

A few familiar faces: HRH Crown Princess Emireza, HRH Queen Venezia,
Duchess Ribra Lynn of Rossie, and more.

The Throne Room was packed with proud family members, the royal family and members of The Royal Chamber, who is oficially hosting this event. As this event always takes place during the day, attendees do dress up but gala is not an issue. They save their tiaras and decorated outfit for the Investiture Day Gala Banquet taking place in the evening. All honorees are invited here with up to two family members.
