Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Top 10 Wealthy Residents

(Year 230, Winter) So, let's take a look on the gossip-ish side of things. Who is the wealthiest resident of Mazaloom kingdom?

I keep pretty detailed lists of every resident's investments, stocks, land property, cash and other possessions like valuable heirlooms and jewelries. Head of top nobility houses will also possess the house's Trust. And some have large bank loans.

You can find most of these details in the online residents registry (history and heirlooms section, but some tidbits also list on the individual Profile pages. When a sim dies, heritage rules tick in, and in some cases the rank gets affected.

When all this sums up, who make it to the top 10 list of today?

10th:

Baron Bud of Gloom (82), Gloomville
§1,661,105

He was always seen as an eager business man, perhaps somehow on the shady side. He certainly succeeded with most his efforts, and built a considerable fortune despite hailing from rather poor parents. He is the official owner of the Gloom Trust that ties with Gloom barony. His possessions include shares in various companies adding up to §737,255.

Highest valued single item is the Willow Rose Aubusson Rug, commissioned in Year 162 by Bentor Brixerwood, Lord of Willow.

9th:

Prince Royal Blaise (59), Britechester
§1,892,377

He a major business man, dedicated to running their old family company, Luxe-Hamper Shipping, Inc. His household resides a manor owned by the Mazaloom Royal Trust, and Prince Royal Blaise owns no estate.

His possessions are all about financial assets, including shares in the old family businesses Tredony Trades, Inc. and Luxe-Hamper Shipping, Inc.  He has been the CEO of  the latter for 6 years.

8th:

Duke Jarret of Rossie (60), Henford-on-Bagley
§2,221,650

His possessions include the Rossie Trust, connected with his top peerage, the Rossie dukedom. Aside of the trust, he also owns quite a bit on private hands.

Most valuable single item heirloom is the Zeddlemore Aubusson Rug, commissioned Year 126 by Baron Bavion of Zeddlemore (San Myshuno), later brought to the House of Ross through marriage.

7th:

Duke Victus of Meadows (56), San Myshuno
§2,269,082

Being a Duke means that he also is the official owner to the Meadows Trust. But he also owns a few items aside of this.

Most valuable single item privately owned, is an old painting of Duchess Benedicta of Meadows (dated Year 11). The artist is unknown, but the insurance value is set to §16,000.

6th:

Agnes Crumplebottom (97), Henford-on-Bagley
§2,307,729

The elderly woman coming 6th on this list might be a surprise to some, but it's an old fact that she owns a major part (15%) of one of the nation's largest stock companies, Landgrab Industries, Inc. Most of her possessions refer to those stocks.

Her most valuable heirloom aside of those stocks is a set of 4 Simpoleon Chaise chairs, originally commissioned by King Wizar of Mazaloom in Year 115.

Agnes is very old, but she only has one adult son who will probably inherit it all.

5th:

Baron Auphor of Verde (89), Oasis Springs
§2,508,848

His possessions include the Verde Trust, that comes with his top peerage. Most valuable single item privately owned is the Medal of Courage, awarded Baron August of Verde in Year 97.

His civil name is Auphor Sax-Donnersmalt, and despite his high age, he has several heirs being less than 5 years old. His oldest son is Duke Victus of Meadows, who will obviously claim his fair share of the total possessions, but Baron Auphor is allowed to direct up to 50% through a testament. The other 50% will be shared between 4 descendants, meaning the Duke can not expect to get the greater values.

4th:

Corinne Dougham (66), Newcrest
§3,063,324

Majority refers to investments. She is a successful business woman, owning half of the Newcrest Arena Shopping Mall, but the bigger part of her total refer to stocks.

Highest valued single item is the family estate, Dougham Estate, at Crestville in Newcrest.

3rd:

Claudia Tangerin (76), San Myshuno
§3,422,243

Most of her possessions refer to stock ownership, covering numerous companies. She is known for owning the Salt House Shopping Mall in San Myshuno.

Her most valuable single item possession is the Druemann Aubusson Rug, commissioned by Mr. Marquis Druemann, Sim City, Year 148. Claudia Tangerin has only one child, so her posessions should not be spread on multiple hands.

2nd:

King Tarriot of Mazaloom (62), Del Sol Valley
§6,174,071

While His Majesty is the official owner of the Mazaloom Royal Trust, he also has quite a few personal possessions. It seems like his most valuable single item heirloom is the Piccola Luce property in Tartosa.

His totals include stocks worth §2,397,571 in the old family businesses Tredony Trades, Inc. and Luxe-Hamper Shipping, Inc.

1st:

Malcolm Landgraab (77), Oasis Springs
§7,440,290

It should not be a surprise that Malcolm Landgraab Mester Cacti is the kingdom's richest resident, because he topped this list ever since his mother Nancy died, a couple decades ago. Nearly 6 mill refers to investments and stock ownerships. His most valuable single item heirloom is their main estate, the Affluista Mansion in Oasis Springs.

Malcolm is reaching a high age already, and when he dies eventually, there will be 3 sons to take over his ownerships. It might be interesting to see how he will handle this, and how values will spread. It should be expected that the next Landgraab generation might drop a few positions in this list.
