(Y230, Winter) People Chamber has decided to strengthen the public focus on private possessions. This far most ownerships have been logged, but some of them with random update frequency, and there were also ways to hide wealth from the public eye.

Leader of the chamber's Trades & Taxes Dept., Vice President Fanny Silverbone (70) has been leading the work, and is glad to announce the new guidelines.
- I want to state that these changes are minor, and not seen as a problem. Neither was the work that is now closed, a result of any major problem or criminal behavior. It is simply a slightly improved routine of what we already had.
The official Community Registry already keeps track on possessions like real estate, heirlooms and other finances. This is needed for inheritance, but also because Houses of the aristocracy must provide a minimum wealth in order to qualigy and satay listed as a House. The requirement is minimum §250,000 which is quite a large sum to most residents.
Regarding Real Estate the registry is also used to keep track on who is the current owner to lots all over the kingdom. This far the worth has mainly been updated at the time of heritage or sale - when there is a new owner. This means some values are long outdated. From Year 230, these values will be updated every 10th year - and of course also when there is new ownership.
We also experienced that Houses and wealthier families, according to traditions, give a sum of money to each child turning 15 or 20. The age might differ a bit. The most common sum is §10,000. Some families do this before the children are old enough to get registered with such details, meaning they can hide away worth of §10,000 per child. Some have also started to spread heirlooms on children , and we believe this must be registered. When a child own something worth more than §1,000, it must be registered officially.
Finally, the general registry is updated every 5th year. Minor changes in value is not of public interest, but if there are bigger changes that are not registered even between the 5 years routine, the owner risks getting fined.
