Community lots can have multy functionality. You simply need to decide what shall be the main category lot tag, and can add from there. And the features won't even need to be related, theme wise.
I often add functionality just to a smal corner or in the basent. It's worth mentioning that NPCs might ignore those extra features completely, but when my played household visits the lot they can use any feature they like. And in most cases that is the most important.
Outside the main entrance is the graveyard serving Tartosa. Castillo de Tredony, home of House de Luminosa (split from royal House of Luxe-Hamper) has a private graveyard, and also afew other local homes have a couple old graves, but majority goes here.
Inside the main entrance there is a small lounging area, showing off several old objects with reference all the way back to the Medieval era (Year 0-50).
The only catch is that nobody yet asked Prince Nicham (28), besides the age gap is 11 years...
Near by is the Tartosa Chapel. It serves the entire Region 3 Tredony, and Church of Similius has assigned a priest here.
The small chapel is still very popular for weddings, and the location is perfect not the least thanks to the dining and celebrating features.
I hardly edited the dining room, but it can also be used for other events than weddings.
The lot is catregorized as Restaurant, meaning my sims can visit at any time. The barthrooms ahead (pictured below) is now a small kitchen where the Chef cooks all day.
The restaurant is intended as an outdoor seerving, but guests can of course choose any table on the lot.
I pretend that Church of Similius used to own the entire lot, but currently allows for a company to run the restaurant.
Next to the seatings is the old nectar making construction. Nectar is no longer produced here, but occasionally there is seasonal nectar tasting, and the small market normally offer local nectars to tourists as well as locals. These market tables are not served unless my active sim go here to sell something, but that doesn't stop me from pretending that this market is very busy at least once every week.
The seatings are especially cozy at night, with candles on the tables and a llush Tartosian athmosphere combining new and old.
Oh, I see Arnessa Thebe (80) is reading the menu - and the quite exotically dressed black haired young woman is her granddaughtewr Greta Laurent (17) who is still a teen. Greta is Arnessa's favorite grandchild. I was not aware of her formal wear though, lol. It's not really suitable as the Laurents are locals, and not from India...
I think I know why Arnessa invited Greta for this meal. Maybe she wants to help Greta finding a better suited husband? Arnessa works as Butler (she would never use that title in public, though) at Castillo de Tredony, which is seat of the Count de Tredony. Head is currently Prince Jerome, and there are 2 sons in the household, the oldest just reached Young Adult. If Greta plays her cards right, she could become the future Countess de Tredony!
Arnessa is obsessed with status, as she claims to descend from Princess Cordelia. Their family was done injustice, and getting such a position would also help Greta's younger brother to raise the status of the Thebe family!
Oh, I forgot to mention even two more features of this lot. There is a suite that can be rented. It is intended for newwed couples, but can also serve tourists.
And - the final feature is only planned and not yet added - a photo feature under the chapel. making it easier taking a formal wedding photo. This is part of a bigger projects coming later.
I loved this lot and how you managed it! And Arnessa is my favorite Sim in Tartosa! đ
ReplyDeleteThanks @Sally! I like combined lots like this, it gives more to do and my sims will visit more often. Now I need to add the photo studio for weddings :) Arnessa is cool!
