Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

Raven's Feathers

(Year 233, Spring) Just when we thought we had a good grip on Ravenwood's history, it turns out that locals know a lot more. There are many secrets in this spiritual district, but did you ever hear about the secret society called "Raven's Feathers"? Neither did we.

A young Writer named Shadius Tapper (26) is ready to sign with Moon Books this Summer, and his first book project is about that secret society!

Old photo said to show 7 members of the secret society "Raven's Feathers".

We got a word with Shadius, as he prepares going to Del Sol Valley to spend a few days with the publisher.

Before we move on to the real interesting stuff, isn't 26 a bit young for revealing old secrets?

- Well, I grew up in Ravenwood, so I guess I heard just as much as other locals. Maybe even more, thanks to the stories involving my late grandfather, Priest Julius Tapper.

What about that grandfather?

- He was a Priest here in Ravenwood, some still refer to him as the evil priest. He embraced the very strict Jsacobian Faith, although he was working for Church of Similius. I was only 3 years old when he died, so I hardly remember him. He married twice, the first wife was blind and she died only 38 years old from a crow attack, shortly after giving birth to their first child, a baby girl. Then he remarried my granny, and they had two more children, including my father. Dad's sister and halfsister married into the Mux-Raisser and Heighwood families, so you can say I had the best sources to any news and rumors. Those two families are the only true aristocracy in Ravenwood.

And then the evil Priest started a secret society?

- No, no! The society might be several hundred years old! I don't think he was even a member - I believe the memberships are inherited, and my grandfather was not born in Ravenwood. He had a serious skin disease, his entire face was spotted. I've seen photos of the members of "Raven's Feathers", and he is not there. It would probably be too risky for a Priest getting involved, but I can't know for sure. If a photo ever leaked, everyone would have recognized him.

Would it not be possible to look it up in some registry?

- No! It's a secret society, if my assumptions are correct not even the members knew the identity of all the other members. And they did not know who was their leader. You see, they hid most of their face behind a feather mask. I found a note written by someone who might have been a member, but is now dead. And I do believe the "Raven's Feathers" still exists!

The author, Shadius Tapper was raised in Ravenwood, now living in Copperdale.

And now there is a book coming to tell us the full story?

- Yes, I'm working on it. Although most of the content is written, I need to do much more research, and research is sure time consuming. I think the book can be released in one year or so. And, you know, this is a very interesting subject, because the Raven is such an awesome character in Ravenwod's culture! There still exist residents who believe the Watcher was actually a Raven. Our current Priest, Fartain Booch, is helping me to sort out those facts, as it started back in the days of the Jacobian Faith. That church was big here in Ravenwood. We are talking late Medieval era. If the Raven connects to that religion it gets even more exciting to try to understand why our town council consults 4 crows in every Raven's year.

Well, there will probably be more info on this subject when your book is in the stores. Good luck!

- Thank you!
