Gossips #19

(Year 235, Spring) Hello again! Here's my 19th issue with gossips from all over the nation! I'll keep my blabbering to a minimum, because there is so much to cover during this era of nobility.

In case you hardly recognized me, I borrowed my outfit from the recent fashion collection, and was even inspired to try this experimental hairstyle for this day only! Grab your cup and join me!

As usual, we'll start with the royals!

You probably knew thet HRM King Tarriot knows how to ride a horse, but have you ever observed HRH Queen Venezia going for a ride? Neither had I!

Recently, the two went for a relaxed ride to the royal stable, Queen Evez Stables, in Newcrest. It's said the reason was the introduction of the new saddle for the 4 royal horses cared for by caretakers residing at the stable house.

Back at the royal palace HRH Crown Princess Emireza is back from the boarding school in Windenburg, and she might have some spare time to fill in... She is not graduating from High School until this Summer, and this final year she is expected to put in that extra effort to secure the A that I assume is expected by a future queen.

A palace staff member sent me the picture above, showing Emireza exploring a cupboard in the formal section on 2nd floor. Perhaps she was looking for her University application, as she will head for University and the traditional History degree, in just a bit more than one year.

Or did she look for her sword?

The Crown Princess is a very active teenager. She is a good dancer, and now she co-founded Mazaloom Noble Swordsmanship club. They will gather at a rented venue in StrangerVille, and both Emireza and her father, His Majesty the King, have been observed practicing their sword skills.

But she is also into archery!

Every Spring Aristocracy gather in Gibbi Point for their Archery Rivaly, where numerous Houses and Dynasties are represented in the contest by a teenager. The Crown Princess will not be a contestant this Spring, but she did take part twice, and four years ago she won the contest.

Now, let's move north!

Nordhaven has been getting some attention this Winter, due to the recent Year 235 election. This was the first time Nordhaven would elect their Mayor, and both RIGHT and LEFT party had candidates for the position.

RIGHT's Adriana Hyde (61) lost the Mayor to LEFT's Mr. Marvin R. Hyggeloth (68), but she was listed high enough by her party to actually get a seat in the Ministry of Science & Educ ation. Mr. Hyggeloth is in the Ministry of Health & Welfare. The families Hyde and Hyggeloth are known as local rivals, and now that they are both in with central political positions, I assume we will hear more from them!

Windenburg is still the center of this northern region, and lately someone sent me a snap from artist Vince Remeréz' atelier, located in the attic of San Myshuno's well known Casbah Gallery.

Duke Merlin von Windenburg (83), Head of the Heimlich dynasty, had his portrait painted. The duke is getting quite old and while he still looks good, his health is said to be facing challenges. Recently his Duchess Mandy had to represent alone. Now it might look like he won't live to see their five children reach their teenage years.

How about some rumors from region Rossie?

There were rumors of the past indicating that Princess Evendice (29) had a relation to her housemate Mr. Robin Hump. I must say this fresh photo taken from someone's drone adds gasolin to that fire!

Princess Evendice, the King's niece, has stayed in this private campus manor in Britechester deuring her 3 years University studies. The house is owned by Duke Jarret of Rossie, brother to Robin Hump's stepfather, Lord Bennet Ross, explaining how Mr. Hump is also staying in this little manor. Duke Jarret has since long actively helped accommodating aristocracy's university students, and if I got this right, this is also where the royal students will reside. However - the Princess and Mr. Hump taking the time to relax together on sun loungers in their final university year, says more than 1000 words...

I'm so greatful to observant staff occasionally sending me some odd photos:

I'm not quite sure what goes on, but the fact is that Duke Jarret (65) and Duchess Ribra Lynn (71), both were seen sporting half naked throug the palace's main hall! Rossie Hall is a massive build with numerous entrances and passages, so maybe they should rather have chosen a more private route?

And now, one of my favorite regions:

Year 235 seems to be a tough year on Judith Ward (71). It was just announced that her husband since 6 years, Mr. Don Lothario, died at 93. This forced the global star to reveal most of her economy, as there had to be some heritage business. Don had two children, both now growen ups, before meeting Judith, so it is not possible for Judith to delay this business. It looks like she sold off some stocks in order to pay out all Don's 4 children. It also turns out that Judith's only son, Stephano (6) was given Judith's private heirlooms including a few painted portraits of her and some jewellery. Who would give such items to a child, if not Judith? Stephano will likely become next head of House of Ward, as he is the only child of hers that was legally born.

Judith looked like a bad version of herself when she attended the grand opening of jazz club «Hey-ho!» in Newcrest last year. She arrived alone and left alone, and according to rumors she had more than a few glasses of sparkling nectars. Some suggest Judith is still offended by her own new elderly life stage, while others suggested there was a health problem involving her 4th husband, Don Lothario - and they obviously were right.

My next blurb involves Actress Fehla (Cracrow) Alto (46).

Fehla resides at Starlight Boulevard in Del Sol Valley, in the building where you'll find the Plumbob Pictures in the basement. On 1st floor is the office of G.R.A.N. (Goldie Ruthfield Actor Network), and the other day someone observed Fehla sneaking into their office after closing hours! She never made herself a big name, she is still only signed with Everyday Extras and never even had a supporting role. Was she sneaking into G.R.A.N.'s com puter to look for ways in? G.R.A.N. holds a much higher standard than Everyday Extras, so what is going on?

At Bellacorde we find the Capp dynasty, lead by Baron Tybalt (63). He is said to be the founder of the new network called the Ondarion Experiment. This is a joint project between Bellacorde in Tredony, Verdemar in Sea kingdom, and Dambele in Simerinia/Empire of Snorthia.

But now there are rumors that Mazaloom's wealthiest man, Mr. Malcolm Landgraab (82) is secretly involved! Is he actually the brain behind this all? The scientific aspect are said to involve Landsgraab Science Lab, Inc., which is located in Oasis Spring and therefore has nothing to do with the experiment, geographically. I think Mr. Capp will have a few things to explain if he wants financial support from our Politicians!

I noticed that an old tradition was taken up, as young members of Aristocracy once again will have their formal debute. How exciting! There is now a new organization called the Debute Committee lead by Countess Bequeenie de Tredony (67).

It's certainly not a huge business, but I will find it interesting seeing who will get introduced to the top society. The routine seems to be slightly modernized, the biggest change might be that also the boys are included. As far as I understand, they will attend gatherings over a year or so, to learn the codes right before starting their young adult years. This includes atending their first Mazaloom Grand Ball where they will greet the monarch. The Crown Princess is currently a debutantee, and I think most ball guests will smile a little when she will greet her own father.

Let's move over to region Crafthole!

Only one blurb from this region today, namely the House of Mux-Raisser!

Mr. Pandor Mux-Raisser (73) had a swordsmanship arena built in his garden. This activity has recently been blooming within aristocracy, and this fine family based in Ravenwood certainly seems to take a step up. It's not said how well skilled Mr. Mux-Raisser is, but he will probably be too old anyway, for the more serious touernaments.

By the way, Cassandra (Goth) Mux-Raisser (47), recently seen hosting the Year 235 Election TV special, is married to main heir to this House, Mr. Jaspor Mux-Raisser (33).

And now, region San Myshuno!

Among the wealthier Houses in he city, we find House of Alto, with head Mrs. Holly Alto (63). Yes, she is the wife of ex-Prime Miniser Rob Wilder. Recently Holly paid a visit to Bellacorde in region Tredony.

It turns out Enzo Alto (53), a resident of Verdemar, is her cousin. His late father, Mr. Bert Alto, was the brother of Holly's late father, Mr. Nick Alto. The House was eventually taking the line via Mr. Nico, and Enzo was never a member. He is now Knight of Ondarion, but it was not reveiled whether Holly Alto made him a member of House of Alto. Personally I don't think that would be possible without marrying into the House. But what would I  know... Enzo is 6th in line to the Port barony in SimNation, though.

Someone sent me this fun picture from the Stargazer Lounge in San Myshuno.

I'm not convinced this is true, but attached was a line indicating the bar announced free drinks for all who took a swim immediately! If so, who were those thirsty guests? I think I recognize Princess Aleccandra (hand before her eyes, likely to hide her face?). The rest of the crowd I'm not sure of, but I hope that free drink was worth it on a freezing Winter day...

Later at Stargazer a celebrity showed up with her fanclub!

It was Penny Pizzazz (57), obviously enjoying the attention. Oh, and isn't that Princess Aleccandra again? She must be a regular to this lounge. Picture proves that the princess is not a member of Penny Pizzazz' fanclub, though...

In region Aarbyville, Duchess Prudence (47, Croismare dynasty) has revealed that the Aarby Palace has some old secret passages.

She has more than hinted that this discovery might result in adjustings to San Sequoia's history, but she never said anything regarding what details she might have found. Was there something to it, or was she just in need of some attention?

How about the western region Advorton?

In Chestnut Ridge we find the Chestnut Training Grounds, ran by caretaker Stian Pratt-Anderson (60). He has now married Adriana Caliente (35) from Oasis Springs. They already had a son, so this relation is not brand new.

These days Adriana inheritted around §180,000 from her late father, Don Lothario, who was no wealthy man, but had the right to a good part of Judith Ward's fortune, due to their marriage. No wonder Adriana was hoppingly glad on this picture...

In Oasis Springs Baroness Morgan (42) had a very tough year, indeed. Not only was she widowed, but her late husband's Verde barony was not inheritted by Morgan's children, but passed on to another family. They kept a minr barony, but this is that Verde barony came with a huge trust, now on the hands of others.

I'm not sure how Morgan  will deeal with this all. For the time being she is granted to stay at their home Yuma Heights, but only as a caretaker as this estate is owned by that trust. She will keep her baroness title until there is a new baroness of Verde, eventually, but as far as I know that can't happen anytime soon as the Verde barony might go dormant

And now some Oasis Springs gossips that actually include the Windenburg dukedom!

Few years ago the oldest daughter of Duke Merlin (83) and Duchess Mandy (49) von Windenburg moved in with Mandy's parents, Joshue E. and Ona Rosewood in Oasis Springs. The duke and duchess have five children all born during a few years, and initially they planned sending away at least two of them. Lady Mirarda (12) is their oldest, born before they married, so she is somehow not seen as a central member and can not be an heir to the dynasty anyway. The dukedom requires a son to take over, so even if she was born later, she would still not be 1st in line. So, Mandy's elderly parents offered to raise her.

Unfortunately, this Winter Ona Rosewod (90) died, and Lady Mirarda and her grandfather Josue (82) are left alone. Next year she will reach her teens, will he be around long enough? I assume the house will eventually be sold, as neither Mandy nor her brother Emerson are likely to keep it. My guess is that Lady Mirarda will then return to Windenborg, uunless she is sent away to a boarding school.

The recent election gave StrangerVille their very first Mayor.

Mr. Ted Rossell (76) has operated more or less as a local leader for decades, but he was too old to run for the Mayor position. Recently he made a quite different effort, though, when allowing the Royal Swordsmanship Club to rent one of his builds. This has brought royals to StrangerVille, and of course many other sword enthusiasts as well. Rumors have it that Mr. Rossell is a bit crazy, actually believing that he is StrangerVille's leader, still...

Now to region Gloom!

Covering districs like Gloomville, Newcrest, Brindleton and Evergreen Harbor, this is a rather busy region.

In Evergreen Harbor a rather dramatic change found place as both mothers of Knox Greenburg (44) died or is very sick. He is married to MIDDLE party's leader Rebekah Starks (48), and thery have a toddler girl. This household now seems to move over to Port Promise as Knox take over the mothers' property there.

While Rebekah Starks kept her People Chamber seat, Knox was not running for this electuion, like he did in the past. Perhaps he plan to be a stay home dad, raising their child?

Now something I heard regarding thew new PM House in Gloomville:

It was announced that our new Prime Minister Charloman C. Dougham (62) will move in with his wife, Corinne Dougham (71). However, at the grand opening this Winter, it was obviously something wrong involving the heating system. One of my sources informed me that Duke Charlopold de Cavalier (pictured above) got sick from attending the opening. He supposedly said that they wwere not served coffee because it would have turned cold within seconds. So, if this has not yet been fixed, will the Dougham couple now be facing a challenge?

Still in Gloomville, Dowager Baroness Rose (85) is reported ill. After her husband, the Baron passed away, their son Edward took over the House, but Rose chose to stay to help raising the many children.

Fact is that the Gloom barony is of the old sort, and only sons can inherit the peerage. This far Baron Edward (54) and Baroness Meriell (42) had only girls, four of them I think. Rumors say that the baroness got angry when realizing that the last one was a girl, too. It means that unless they will give it another go, the barony will be passed over to the Landgraabs, as Edward's sister Aili is married to Mr. Malcolm Landgraab.

My final stop in Gloomville is a quick one!

Recently the Willow Farm opend a nice grocery store as a small business. They sell crops from the farm as well as cooked dishes based on local produce. Their only daughter, Tammy Oaksdale (47) moved back in with her parents, bringing her adopted son, Nellot (6). She seems to plan taking over the family farm eventually. This is one of Mazaloom's largest farms, so question is - will she manage as a single mom? My source reveals that Tammy once had a romantic relation to a boy next door, but that he is now living in Oasis Springs.

Want some jazzy celebrity gossips?

When elderly jazz legend Olivia Clump (82) entertained at the grand opening of jazz club "Hey-ho!" in Newcrest this Fall, we all know she was only miming to her own hits. It has now been leaked that one of the songs she mimed was actually a recording of a cover done by another artist! Some of the many guests must have noticed, but the routined singer was sporty, and when noticing the mistake, she played along!

So, is anything going on abroad?

In Verdemar my contact has some news:

Mr. Thiago A. Thebe (38) is suspected to have a secret operation going with his elderly mother, Medium Ermelinda Abrantes (71). These two are central residents of Verdemar, but Ermelinda's plan for her son, marrying to the famous Cordelia Thebe failed. Will something unexpected take place?

Not much new from Empire of Snorthia, but a rumor:

The popular market of Dambele always attracted touritsts, but as a consequemncy of the Emperor recent cultur conflict resulting in closed borders, tourists were cut off.

Borders are again open, but tourists seem to take a while to return. Meanwhile there might be indications of adjusting the old market to offer more crafts. Pottery and jewellery were already spotted, but there will probably be more adjustments to this traditional venue.
