The Romeo & Juliette Story

(Year 235, Summer) You probably heard about this couple and their romance. But do you actually know how the story goes? Why they ran away, where they went - and not the least - why did they return to the neighborhood they once escaped from to protect their true love? It's time for an update!

Juliette (Capp) Monty (58) and Romeo Monty (58) arranged a chat session with us in their lovely home at Bellacorde, region Tredony. Back then, this house was the home of House de Monty, while Juliette grew up not so far away.

- House de Monty is just a bit more than a century old, not as old as House de Capp, and we never held a barony, Romeo explains. - My older brother Mercutio was raised to lead the House into the future. Our father was long gone, so Mr Mercutio actually took over at the young age of 16, probably assisted by our mother.

Royal estates - leaked notes!

(Year 235, Summer) Internal note from the Royal Palace Office (RPO) was leaked, possibly by a palace staff member (rumored to be the fired House Maid Elisabeth Lunvik, but not confirmed). Although the note is not dated, it is of interest as it shows how the numerous royal estates might be occupied over the coming years.

And, perhaps of even bigger interest, it suggests that some of the current royal caretakers might be asked to move out!

Weddings Galore

(Year 235, Summer) We have so many weddings these days, that Church of Similius had to restrict the frequency of wedding ceremonies in their five churches: Only one wedding per seasons Spring, Summer and Fall per church. This year all churches were booked for Summer, and several outdoor venues were used as well.

Meadows parish

Let's start with the Meadows parish, where some well known residents gave their woes.

Ms Valeria Phlum and Baron Rainert of Myshuno were married in Gloom Church.

The wedding getting the most attention this year, was Baron Rainert of Myshuno (33) finally getting married. The bride was Ms Valeria Phlum (32), also from San Myshuno. The two met at the private Mossy Lane dorm while getting their University degees. Valeria is already a doctor, just like her mother, and she is also known from Ice Skating where she won medals five times, winning gold 6 years ago as her best achievement.

New Photo of the Royal Family

(Year 235, Summer) The Royal Palace Office has shared a new family photo, showing His Majesty and the Queen with all their four children. This time there's no gown and tiara involved, but it's been a while since we saw a group photo featuring them all.

The photo was taken in the lovely King's Tea Salon, the room where the royal family gathers on Constitution Day, connected to the palace's main balcoony where they pop out to wave to the cheering crowds. This time it was an internal gathering where the birthdays of all three princes were celebrated. There's no information on the full giest list, only that it was a moderate and informal party with only the close family and maybe a couple friends, too, eating and mingling.
