The Cat Woman

(Year 225) It's time to introduce you to the cat woman, Anima Purr!

Well, she is no longer around, at leeast not in flesh and fur, but her unique DNA made such a great impact on Count Vladislaus IV of Hollow, that it made its way into the Straud family tree. Who would not be tempted to ad a drop of a wild cat animal's energy and powers?

Anima Purr - circus attraction, prisoner and origin of the cat people of Forgotten Hollow.

It all started when Count Vladislaus discovered the cat woman traveling with a circus several generations ago. He was fascinated by her looks, despite being a person she had the skin of a wild cat. He immediately wanted her powers, and one way to achieve that would be to feed from her. Vlad bought her and brought her to Forgotten Hollow where she was gently thrown into one of the dark cells in the cellar of his castle.

He named her Anima Purr and when he was not feeding from her, he would often hide in a dark corner simply to observe her. Vlad watched her sleeping, crying, screaming and purr-ing. He was fascinated by this valuable treasure of his, the furry skin, those feline stripes, her wild hair and her red cat eyes. Night after night he tasted her blood, but he could not tell for sure whether he built any cat power. Because he wanted to feed from her, she never did intend to turn her.

Prisoners get less tasty after a few years in a cell, so after a couple years he came up with a new plan. Although playing with food would not be like cheating on his partner, Miss Hell, Vlad already had two kids with the dark side, and due to old vampire clan traditions, he would be better avoiding any more children. But perhaps Anima Purr could blend DNA with his children? If so, he would need to make sure that Anima Purr would reproduce. She would probably not live forever. So, he sold her to Hollow's only farmer, Felix Bruenig. He had been a prisoner that Vlad released after 3 years, as part of the grand plan of filling Hollow with human prey. Felix Bruenig grew plasmafruits, and he had signed the deal allowing for Vlad's household to feed from Felix' future children.

Felinus Bruenig married to Count Vladislaus' successor, Bonehilda Straud.

Felix and Anima had 3 children. Two with the cat genetics, the third was simply to be fed on. Vlad's daughter and successor, Bonehilda, grew facination for one of Anima's sons, Felinus. When he grew up, they married and Vlad's childish ego jumped of pure joy when both his grandchildren carried the cat woman't DNA! Combined with their dark side, it would hopefully help them through the next couple hundred years!

Plasmafruit Farmer Bozo Bruenig.

Anima's other son, Bozo Bruenig, also got some of the cat genes, he inherited the plasmafruit farm, got the offer to buy a wife from Vlad's cellar, and had 3 tasty kids.

The cat woman died in year 144, that's 81 years ago. The soft hearted Count Vladislaus decided to never release her soul. Anima Purr is currently one of the most active ghosts of Forgotten Hollow, and that is not going to change anytime soon, as Vlad can often be seen crying at her grave. Her 3 children, including Vlad's son-in-law are long gone, too, but most of her unique DNA still lives on in Forgotten Hollow.
