(Year 226) I'm still having fun exploring the Paranormal stuff pack, and here are two more of my many households that are more or less involved with paranormality. Get ready for another massive picture post :) (did you miss the first one?)
Spencer family
- Grims Quarry, Evergreen Harbor
The teenager Jeb Harris (family tree) is a mystery to many, I guess. The boy lives a life with a paper bag over his head (I still don't know what he looks like!), and there were no clue to explain his weird behavior - not until now! I made the backstory for this family long ago, but did not focus much on them. Jeb lives with mom and dad and one younger brother. His dad's mother, Francine, lived with them, she is the elderly daughter of Collin Grims who founded the local quarry long ago. The marriage never worked perfectly, as mom Faye focus on her Culinary career while dad Cletus prefers not making money at all. Old Francine was actually hoping for a divorce, because she wants them to take back the Grims name, rather than use the workers name, Harris...
I loved this picture of Jeb's meeting with a Specter! I never seen a specter get this close, it was hanging there for quite a while. Either this one needs glasses, or it got to curious when seeing a paper bag face for he first time. Anyway, Jeb has been into these things all his teenhood - it's the reason why he has problems facing the real world out there.
A little more about the divorce and Francine's plan.
The household naturally split. Jeb (19) stays with mom Faye (54), while dad Cletus (49) and younger brother Gideon (15) moved with granny Francine (78) to a vacant house nearby, Rockridge Spring, actually previously owned by the Grims.
Granny Francine, who is a rather eccentric person, is not really into paranormal stuff, but she supports her grandson 100% and owns a séance table and a crystal ball to allow Jeb to practice. I love that one version of the table can be used as a regular dining table. The crystal is temporarily put there in the background. Dad Cletus is wearing a tie because they just celebrated Gideon's teen birthday.
Francine gladly join Jeb for his rituals. He was always a lonely kid, besides she worries he might lose grip on reality if she lets him practice all alone. I was a bit surprised that the table can be used *without* the crystal ball, not sure if it is a glitch or intended.
Jeb has started the Club Beyond Senses, which is for teens only, and where he is the leader. His goal is to join a serious paranormal club when he grows up, he only vaguely heard o it, and he knows it is very exclusive and some Madam Cracrow is the leader. If he masters the Medium skill they will surely accept him as a member!
Francine Spencer has more plans for this broken family. She was Collin Grims' only child, and she really want her grandson Gideon to choose the Grims family name over the more common Harris name. And if ex-daughter in law, Faye Harris, protests, perhaps Francine's son Cletus can change last name and start a new Grims family?
Cracrow family

Madam Tulsy Cracrow (63) exists in the Rossie district (family tree). She actually descent from high nobility, but that was numerous generations ago, and at the moment House of Cracrow is just Tulsy and her daughter Amy (13), and of course Madam Cracrow's old, secret paranormal business.
She works as a Paranormal Investigator but she also runs a very exclusive club called "Spirit of Amy Lounda". The additional 3 members are from the wealthier families, and their membership is very confidential as they don't want their family to know - not even their spouses. The annual membership is quite costly, but they can afford it and this small club is worth it. Madam Cracrow allows the members to meet with dead spirits, but also to look into the future.
Tulsy practices most days as the Cracrow Manor is haunted. Terrible stuff happened here long ago, but Tulsy knows how to keep the ghostly activity to a minimum. I find it funny that mother Tulsy can perform her rituals while daughter Amy does her homework at the same table. Amy joins the séance occasionally, but is probably too young to pay a lot of interest. Tulsy wants Amy to bring this business on, though. Perhaps Tulsy can also live eternally through Amy?
There are Specters around most of the time. They are mostly green and friendly, but this one surprised me by not being so happy. The yellow ones seem to wear glasses, but I have not yet seen the blue or red ones, which will bring more drama. I've not yet met Guidry, either. My stops at the Cracrow home often starts after 9PM, maybe that excludes the bigger events?
Tulsy regularly summons on Bonehilda, though.
Bonehilda is normally a happy and flirty camp, always willing to join a group séance.
Some times I wonder if Bonehilda might be familiar with this nice woman on the wall, whom she often admires. It is Tulsy's grandmother, Lady Amy Lounda Ross, who was the daughter of the Duke of Rossie. She never married, but had one daughter (Tulsy's mother), and was said to be the first to practice séances in Rossie. Tulsy's club is in her memory.
Occasionally Bonehilda runs off the lot. Going for a jog is probably smart for keeping a healthy body.
Going fishing seems to be another favorite of hers. Was Bonehilda a Fishing Queen in her formal life?
Disclaimer: The Cracrow Manor is not yet built because Rossie district is not yet visualized in a world. So, for the time being, Tulsa and Amy resides in Evergreen Harbor - just in case you thought the jogging and fishing pictures looked familiar in a wrong way :)
