Evergreen Harbor claiming Rights

(Magnolia Promenade, Year 226) Yesterday a group of loud residents from Evergreen Harbor took to the streets! They shouted and waved their paroles as they marched up to Region 12 Council House, where they kept protesting and annoying anyone who walked by.

Their message was clear: Evergreen Harbor must be included to the political system as a full worthy neighborhood, with its own Spokes Sim! This must be handled by the Council in time for the next election (Year 230).

The young and well known rebel Rebekah Starks, current Hood Contact of Old Crest in Newcrest, was among those shouting louder than the rest. Also eco disciple Knox Greenburg, Francine Grims and Oasis Springs born Emerson Rosewood (son of current Councilor Josue E. Rosewood) had joined the group. So had current Hood Contact of Gloomville's Willow Field, Paolo (Rocca) Grossing, but the descendant of the Pigulock Industries founder was not attending.

Rebekah Starks was joined by dedicated Evergreen Harbor residents.

Rebekah Starks is already a well promoted activist know for the Green Lipz Organisation, which is a fragment of the eco-friendly Middle Party. She was born in Evergreen Harbor, but now resides at Newcrest's Old Crest, where she won the local election two yeas ago.

- It's time to treat Evergreen Harbor as a regular hood! 70 years ago the industrial adventure of Evergreen Harbor started, and all these years it was only a suburb under Gloomville. Not even seen as a hood, it's such a shame!

Region 12 consists of 5 districts, and each district covers 3-5 hoods with their own Hood Contact elected every five years. Evergreen Harbor is on Gloomville's outskirts , and when the industry cooled down and families moved elsewhere, there were not many residents. But over the past few years the green eco movement revitalized the place, and today the place counts quite a few households.

- We don't claim one Hood Contact for each of Evergreen's three quarters, we realize there would be too much administration. What we claim is just one Hood Contact to represent all three parts of Evergreen!

Francine Grims (78), formerly known as Francine G. Spencer, had joined the protest.

- I support this claim wholeheartedly! It was my father who founded the Grims Quarry, Evergreens history is in my blood! I lived all my life there, and it's a scandal that we never had a voice of our own! I'm too old to be that voice, but I want my grandchildren to be heard!

The Council will handle the claim next year. If they accept, Gloomville will have a total of four Hood Contacts starting with the Year 230 election.
