I love taking photos of my sims to decorate their wall. Sometimes they create several copies, and then visit relatives to gift them one. Show me the Granny who would not appreciate a portrait of her grandchild?
But this post is all about the photo backdrops. In the past I created 3 new versions of TS4 Photo Studio (GTW pack), with each their theme: In-game destinations, noble backgrounds and Victorian paintings. My top society often make use of the two latter. But most of my sims are actually quite regular, they need backdrops that are less complex.
They would rather use a simple background instead of silk drapes and pedestals with antic vases and sculptures. So - here comes my 4th version of the Photo Studio with solid colors!
There are 4 solids, and 4 graded, Some of them come with variety that might be hard to spot in this illustration. These are meant for close up portraits, but if you insist on photographing the floor, be warned it is simple very dark grey or black with no texture. These plain backdrops are not popular only with the regular families, though. They are also the perfect match for the office corridor portraits as well as for the snobs' minimalistic route.
Do you recognize the model? It's Penny Pizzazz. She has gained some weight over the years, which might be natural due to her age, but it could also be caused by giving birth twice. She is still based in Arts Quarter of San Myshuno, and works as a highly profited model, occasionally. A career that might need to end at some point? There's rumors of a new TV show, but time will tell...

This file is not overriding anything, and you can remove it from your mods later without harming photos already captured.
