(Year 230, Winter) Curriosity killed the cat? Well, thanks Similius, it was not that bad. The Sutton family celebrated a birthday, I think it was Mrs Carolina H. Sutton (72) herself who turned elderly. One of their 3 cats got a little too interested in those cace candles.

I guess it's on time they teach the cats to not jump onto counters...

Farmers Guild: Old Farm Rights no longer Valid

(Year 230) This weekend the Farmers' Guild held an extraordinary meeting at Hotel Roadstead in Magnolia Promenade. The core group announces important changes that will affect many households within Region 12: Farm Rights are no more!

Produce deeds are nothing new in Mazaloom, but now they can no longer be replaced by Farm Rights.

All the way back in the Medieval era the first deeds were introduced. They were required to sell certain produce and crafted goods. A few guilds were active even back then, although not like we know them today. Over the centuries, mainly in order to control production and limit the number of persons involved, but also to drag in more taxes - one or more market rights were created for each affected product. For some there were only one deed total, meaning one single producer was providing the entire kingdom with that product, while other products could have up to four deeds each serving 2 of the 8 regions. Anyone with such a deed sell their goods directly to the regional Broker - either by visiting the region's storage in person, or by selling from inventory according to the Broker's claims regarding quality and volume.

- Hello again! Last time I shared some gossips with you, we were just half way through the social season. And do hang on, because after this happy bunch of rumors and truth, we'll focus on some rather juicy nobility gossip, right from the royal palace!

Mazaloom Royal Military Forces

(Year 230, Winter) This year the People Chamber, lead by President Rob Wilder, has been busy strengthening the focus on Law Enforcement, which might lead to a police reform during this 5 years period. This also includes the Court Chamber (aka High Court), which controls Lawyers, Police and Detectives. While we wait, let's check out the military organization, which also had some extra focus.

The Mazaloom Royal Military Forces is as old as the nation, but was reorganized several times, last time back when the Monarchy was reinstated in Year 150. The Monarch is the high protector of the organization, but the real military power is in the hands of the Grand Marshal. As seen above, there are three branches: Army Forces, Navy Forces (including some air craft forces), and finally the Royal Guard, which also covers the Covert Operator branch that is the least public of them all.

Thorne Bailey reaching Global Fame!

(Year 230, Winter) Last night Del Sol Valley got a brand new star for its glamorous Starlight Boulevard. Musician Thorne Bailey (50) reached global fame with his smash hit «Llama dish-dash».

His brand new star brick is located on the same side of the boulevard as his wife, the author Octavia Moon, who got her star a couple years back.

Sea kingdom: New Alliance

(Year 230, Winter) It's reported from Sea kingdom that HRH Crown Prince Longjav (33) and Lia Hauata (34) are engaged. Following traditions, there is no engagement party, but the couple will be busy seeking the old spirits' blessings by visiting spiritual locations within the kingdom.

The engagement does not come totally without controversies, though, as it seems to be part of a deal following HRM King Salomar's confiscation of the old Chiftain's Villa, where Lia has resided with her assumed grandmother, Keala Hoapili (92).

House von Fyres Update

(Year 230, Winter) Following this year's Royal Court where Dominic Fyres was granted the newly created Dresden County, the fresh Count Dominic von Dresden paid an obligatory visit to the royal palace for a meeting with HRM King Tarriot.

House von Fyres was strongly affected by the recent repair of the Mazaloom great peerage, where a few older peerages were replaced with better suited titles. Dominic was having 3 illegal titles, Lord von Dresden, Lord von Haunt, and Lord of Deadgrass. Because the latter was even seen as high nobility, despites lacking its own district order, his main peerage, Lord von Dresden, was not replaced with a Baron title like the other lords were, but a brand new county. His new title is Count von Dresden. One could say he jumped 2 levels in rank, but he also gave up on 2 titles.

Popular TV Stars Engaged

(Year 230, Winter) We were kind of waiting for it to happen, as this popular couple known from TV was observed so many times during their private hours. Now their engagement has been confirmed, as fans spotted them in Mt. Komorebi!

Khloe Adrian (25) became a known face over night as she hosted the popular TV show «The Bagged Talent» last Winter. She lead us through the 6 episodes as if she hardly did anything else in her life, despite being a brand new face with no relevant experience. And the person who obviously head hunted her, is now her fiancé, Fritz Mervil (38), known for hosting «the Simmerville Show», but he is also the CEO and main share holder of Simmerville Studio.
