(Year 230, Winter) Just before this year ends, Antoinette Morck is back with gossips! And this time the list is looong!
- Hello again! Last time I shared some gossips with you, we were just half way through the social season. And do hang on, because after this happy bunch of rumors and truth, we'll focus on some rather juicy nobility gossip, right from the royal palace!
So, let's get on with our business!
This time we'll start in Brindleton Bay. District of the Cavalier dukedom, but also where the Free Will Show was recorded. The show's winner, Ramona Talcom (53), now resides in that haunted house after some adjustments, joined by a handsome fellow, Bertel Dougham (60).
They just had twins, and a shocked neighbor captured this picture! (see, I promised not to mention your name, Emma Sherwood!) Ramona seems to teach one of her infants how to not grab that cake! What a terrible experience for the infant, I mean, especially if he actually grabbed some cake to learn the hard way!
I heard that Ramona was contacted by the Social Services, but I don't know whether she was fined or just got a warning.
Center of the showbiz will never let you down! The other night superstars gathered at Orchid GoGo, to celebrate the 50th birthday of Thorne Bailey!
Actress Judith B. Ward was observed, as was former Performance Artist Holly Alto, now wife to our President Rob Wilder. The birthday star, who recently reached global fame, performed his latest hit, «Llama Dish-Dash». It was reported that some fans at the bar fainted. As usual.
Thorne has reportedly signed with Maxis Music Machine. After the cake, champagne and mini-concert, the group headed over to the Starlight Boulevard where Thorne placed his star brick. His wife, Octavia, was nowhere to be seen...
Still in Del Sol Valley, this Fall students at the Butler Academy had a small event in front of the school's entrance. It was Family Day, and a few parents and siblings stopped by.
Among the students we find Lady Corva Saxor (24), daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Meadows (San Myshuno). She is now a senior student, and will graduate this coming Spring.
Her elderly mother, Duchess Gloria was eagerly photographing her daughter.
Let's not forget Del Sol Valley Singer Suzy "Sushi" Sench (40), who married Prince Ace this Summer in Tartosa.
Rumor has it the couple is already expecting a baby! The child will not become a member of the Royal House, so perhaps a Singer career would be more likely?
It's time for my home district! I still can't believe it, but the girl we all met on the Simmerville Show actually has totally white eyes!
I'm talking about Amy Cracrow (17), who lives in Henford-on-Bagley with her eccentric mother and 2 younger half brothers. Amy does play the viola occasionally, and because I reside in the same district, I can assure you that she is not very talented! Let's hope she will fare better now that she is suing the man who is supposedly her white eyed father. She claims financial support, and so do a good number of other children from all over our kingdom - they are all the result of the same man's one night stands. It's not yet confirmed, but the accused man might very well be a retired San Myshuno Politician named Victor Tangerin! You might recall him as Region 12's Mayor (first season of As Sims Go By).
I'm not convinced that Penny Pizzazz (52) did the right thing, when she arranged a fan greeting tour to Mt. Komorebi in the Empire of Snorthia! There is a rather chilly front between the empire and our kingdom, and I heard that the Emperor himself has stated that visitors from our Mazaloom are not appreciated.
Even so, Penny set sail and it was reported that she walked the streets without any guards, just like we could before the conflict. I know it started with late Queen Evez, but she died 32 years ago, so there must be something more to it.
Penny used to have a few fans in Snorthia, but I assume things might have changed a bit. At least on the street. Let's hope she returns back home safely and without controversies!
The exhibition at Gallery Casbah showing the famous «Moon Liza» painting, was a huge success! So many celebrities were there to admire the old painting.
Nobody knows for sure who painted it, when it was painted, or who was the model. Perhaps the mystery is what made the portrait so famous? The occasion is also quite rare, as the painting is seen as a national treasure of the Empire of Snorthia, and they very rarely share their treasures like this.
No wonder everyone wanted to have a look, including a ghost! The ghost has not yet been identified, and rumors are now that the ghost might be a relative of the model!
If you missed it, it's too late visiting Casbah, but you get a chance in Windenburg this Winter. Afterwards the painting will return to Snorthia. (You can read more about the painting here and here)
Well, this is also a chance to observe one of the neighbors, Judith B. Ward (66)!
The mature Actress promenaded in front of the palace for about an hour, wearing what might be her gym outfit - with high heals. No matter how weird that behavior is, we ought to compliment this soon to become an elderly woman for still having the body of a younger woman!
Social season is always closed with a grand ball at the palace, where most houses of the large peerage will attend. Unfortunately no others are allowed inside, but I paid a Servant to take a few pictures as the guests arrived the Grand Mazaloom Hall!
HRH Prince Royal Blaise (59) arrived with his wife, HH Princess Duella (64), and their two children (back). Blaise and Duella are rarely involved with royal festivities, so it was interesting to see them bring the entire family, all the way from Britechester. There they reside a large manor that is owned by the Mazaloom Royal Trust.
There are rumors that Crown Princess Emireza has requested to move into the manor as she grows up, but although the current household might be forced to move out, they can at least rest assured that there won't be ay changes until 4 years from now. The Crown Princess is still in high school for at least 3 years. She will then be expected to study at the University of Britechester for 4 years, and technically she could actually request to stay in that manor as a Student...
Soon to be Count Dominic von Dresden (81) arrived to enjoy a nice evening with his wife, Lady Moira (76). Lately there were rumors that his House von Fyres is currently facing financial challenges. In the past they made good money from nectar making, but this business might have been set on pause now that the master is getting quite old, and the two children still residing at the nectar farm, are still too young to help with the nectars. If rumors are correct, they better find a solution quickly!
Another family joining the ball was House de Luminosa from Tartosa. HH Prince Jerome (65) recently split from royal House of Luxe-Hamper to found his new House of Luminosa. Most people found this switch rather impolite and unnecessary, although HRM King Tarriot did stated that he is fine with it all. We don't know what was the true reason for Prince Jerome to break loose. He is cousin to the King, and for the grand ball he was supported by his wife HH Princess Bequeenie (62) and their sons Prince Nicham (28) and Prince Millaus (23). Maybe the sons were there to look for future spouses?
Finally, Baron Auphor (89) of Verde arrived with his beautiful wife, Baroness Morgan (37), who btw is daughter of the previously mentioned House von Fyres. Auphor will celebrate his 90th birthday next year, and the couple had numerous children to secure an heir for the barony. I heard that Baron Auphor is trying to stay low with the royals, as he handed his dukedom over to his son long before it should have happened. The retreatment was accepted by the Royal Chamber, but there is reason to believe that they also made it very clear that it was a bold exception to long traditions and highly respected rules. Because: Dukes never ever do retire! In fact, no Peer does that, they all sit until their heart stops beating, and Baron Auphor must be aware that someone might suggest to cancel the approval once given by the Royal Chamber!
Whenever Baron Auphor passes, Baroness Morgan will probably be in control of the barony until the heir little heir grows old enough to take over.
