(Year 234, Winter) This Monday the RPO (Royal Palace Office) had announced a press brief - this time not in the Press Center where the weekly briefings usually take place, but in the Mazaloom Great Hall. This meant that the announcement was of a certain importance, attracting even more journalists.
The event centered around the restoration of an old noble symbol, by historiens connected to Mazaloom's first era, today used by the Capp dynasty in Tredony, but where the story is not yet fully unveiled.
HRH Queen Venezia, wearing a pale blue dress, explained how the old emblem had been stored in the vault of the palace ever since the royal seat reestablished in Del Sol Valley, and that it was not before a couple years ago, she had discovered it and suggested to have the old fabric rinsed and restored in order to bring it out to be admired.
The Queen is very interested in art, and is involved with the organization of the many displays, some with annually replacements bringing even more items from the royal history out to the public either by being exhibited in the palace or on initiative by the National Museum.
Historians are still busy researching the old emblem and its strong symbolism. It is a fact that today's Capp dynasty in Bellacorde of Tredony identified themseles by this emblem since Year 90, but during the first half of what is referred to as the historical era (until Year 118), the emblem connected to King Rupert of royal House de Froux, who then resided at Heighwood Castle in Britechester. The emblem is nothing like his weapon/Coat of Arms, though, but he might have had not yet known plans of a redesign. The Capp dynasty obtained their noble status and started to use the emblem, a couple years after King Rupert's death. The exact story is not yet stated.
The framed emblem will now be displayed in the Mazaloom Great Hall through out this Winter, and then decorate HRM King Tarriot's office. Later it might tour the nation for more citizens to admire it.
