Download: 9 Custom Ceilings

I'm bored with the default white ceiling everywhere. How about you?

Thanks to an online tutorial I was able to create a set of wooden replacements. My favorites are the subtle light textures, that just about make a change from the white. This set contains 9 versions.



As this is a replacement it's supposed to override the default white ceiling, but you will still get the same ceiling in all rooms in all houses. Place ONLY ONE of the 9 files into your Mods folder. If you want to change the version, you must exit your game, then replace the file in your Mods folder, and restart the game. Please note that the ceiling you choose for your home will also be the ceiling for your church, stores and Police station...

I find it useful for storytelling, and it's good with a little bit of variety. I normally don't gaze into my sims' ceiling anyway, but sometimes a ceiling texture adds atmosphere to a room.

I might create more versions shortly, so check back! Click the DOWNLOADS button from the top menu to see if you missed anything.

      Hi. Not working dor me either. Nothing happens when i click on the link. A new tab opens up but quickly disappears.

      Same for me (tab opens and closes). I tried to turn off every addblock I have and ect. still not working(

      Thanks for your feedback! I still don't know why it doesn't work, but I realize it might be a problem to most visitors, so I created a list with the downloads on my website, off Blogger. I don't know if that will work better, so I need you guys to help testing :) See in fo in blog post of July 23 2022. Thanks!
