(Year 223) I'm so excited! Last day of Fall and the big moment hit Council House! The opening of "Forget me not", the exhibition that Councilor Josue Rosewood has been working so hard to realize. It's been a year already since he started the planning.
Today was the grand opening and Duke Victus Amador Saxor of Meadows was the guest of honor. Before I move on, the exhibition will soon be available for download!
The Duke's late mother, Duchess Cordenza Saxor of Meadows, is not only featured as one of the ten persons exhibited, her beautiful face is also on the official poster!
The exhibition is a co-work between Region 12, by Councilor Josue Rosewood (left) and The Historical Society, by leader Mila v.T. Munch (right). They have both put numerous hours into the project, which main purpose is to honor those who lived before us, and who prepared our presence.
The ten persons represent every corner of our region, including the outskirts that are no longer politically part of Region 12. Still, in our past they had a voice, and they used it to made a difference affecting us today. Each portrait is presented with a short text, explaining some of the person's qualities, often with a humorous touch. (It's written in English, but the font makes it hard to read, intentionally).
The Duke of Meadows shared a few memories of his own mother, who died in a car accident when he was only six years old. "My memories are mostly based on photos and paintings", he said. "I always saw her as beautiful, but I could also sense her power. As an adult, I learned that my mother actually was the most powerful woman of San Myshuno."
The Duke's father-in-law, Baron Bendel Roxenfox of Lunderclam is also featured.
Several familiar faces attended the opening, here is Lord Malcolm Landgraab of Cacti. His late father Geoffrey v.D. Landgraab is on the wall, representing Oasis Springs.
This was actually the Duke's very first visit to the Council House at Magnolia Promenade. He resides a penthouse in Fashion District of San Myshuno, and because Magnolia Promenade is indeed within the borders of his peerage, he promised to stop by again quite soon.
A quick group photo. From left to right: Duchess Claudine de Cavalier, Josue Rosewood (Councilor, Culture and Entertainment dept.), Duke Victin Amador Saxor of Meadows, Mila v.T. Munch (leader of Historical Society), Priest Antonius Dipperwell (Church of Similius), and finally Charloman Au. C. Dougham (Mayor).
I mentioned the "Forget Me Not" exhibition will be up for download. Please check back in a week or so (Get To Work EP required)! If you have a gallery hosting changing exhibitions, this might be a fun set even if you recognize just a few of the persons featured). Or, you might like to help advertising this exhibition by displaying the official poster on some of your community lots.
Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.
Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!
I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.
