(Photo special - current year 224) Our region's leading jazz singer, Olivia Clump, is back!
Last night she threw a birthday concert, showing the nation that she aged well and that she's still got it! Her son Garvin Clump accompanied her on piano, and the night turned out memorial and beyond to a packed Club Hillside in Crestville, Newcrest.
The popular singer turned elderly last week, but except from a new hairdo she was still the old same that her audience loved a couple decades back. It's no secret that she had a pretty tough down period with decreased sales. She openly told the JazZ magazine how she considered selling her family home at Rivercrest to make ends meet.
Wearing a modest black dress we never saw before, she was now confidently giving a great concert.
Olivia sang several of her old hits, including the global hit "Forever Jazzami" that will have its 30th anniversary next year. But she also presented a couple new songs, that matched her matured voice very well, and made the crowd go wild.
Club Hillside used to be the perfect size for a singer like Olivia Clump, recently focusing on her local audience. But now she might consider renting Fun Factory at Magnolia Promenade for her next gig! Or perhaps Studio PBP, even.
It was obvious to all that both Olivia and her son had a blast last night. Let's hope this might be an upswing for them both!
Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.
Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!
I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.
