The legit Baron of Verde was found

Region 12 Court House has now handled the case where Malcolm Landgraab claimed to be the legit Successor to the Baron of Verde peerage. However, the refined list of candidates brought up a couple surprises, like Malcolm Landgraab's father not being first in line, as claimed...

On the case's final day, Region 12 Council was represented by Mayor Charloman Dougham. He announced the line of successors as it should have been presented back in Year 173. That is when the last Baron of Verde, Javiar von Donnersmalt, died without any male living descendant. The hunt for successors started, but was concluded too early when finding the first candidate, who has now been proven not legit.

Duke Jarret Ross of Rossie gives up peerage after 50 years.

Jarret Ross, the Duke of Rossie and current Baron of Verde, explained how he was only 3 years when he was told that he would be crowned Baron of Verde when turning 25. He did not protest to the double incident of female descendants in his line, and he informed that he is willing to give up on the peerage as the jury may decide. 

Financial compensation can be discussed with the board of Verde Trust eventually.

Auphor Saxor, ex-Duke of Meadows

Region 12 Court has concluded the following to be executed on 1st day of Winter in Year 224:

A. Jarret Ross, Duke of Rossie, is no longer the Baron of Verde.

B. Auphor Saxor, Ex-Duke of Meadows, to be crowned Baron of Verde.

C. Auphor Saxor to gain full ownership to the Verde Trust.

D. Malcolm Landgraab to pay Court fee of §1.000

E. Jarret Ross to be compensated as follows:

1. Duke of Rossie, current and future, shall be a board member of the Verde Trust.

2. Duke of Rossie, curent and future, shall be member of Verde District Order.

3. Verde Trust to pay Rossie Trust compensation of a final sum of §10.000.

After the case was closed, it was revealed that Geoffrey von Donnersmalt, Malcolm Landgraab's late father was actually not a legit successor to the Verde peerage at all. His mother, Princess Ann Caramelle von Donnersmalt was not married when she gave birth to Geaoffrey, in fact his father was never officially known. Children born outside marriage are never considered for line of successors, not even to low nobility peerages or the even lower ranked titles. Case was not reopened because of this new fact, as it doesn't affect the conclusion.
