This year we will see the coronation of Duke de Cavalier. The event will of course be smaller than a royal crowning would have been, but still important and worth celebrating with guests.
New Dimension Day (2nd Sunday of Fall) will this year be arranged for the 125th time. Hosted by the regional council, but also with arrangements in each district.
More details can be found below. Low nobility might get listed if they have big events such as weddings, birth, death or a new peer. The full calendars are available in the community section. Here is the major lineup - including some events to ne reported on this blog - for the upcoming sim year 226:
San Myshuno covers two districts; Meadows (Meadows, Fashion District, Upperton) and Myshuno (Spice Market, Arts Quarter) which are split by the Myshuno River. Meadows also includes Magnolia Promenade, which is home to low nobility Lord of Prome, held by the House of Rab-Saxor.
Meadows District Order will host its annual gala dinner at Torendi Tower Penthouse in Summer. This year the gala dinner will be combined with Duchess Gloria's 70 years birthday celebrations.
The late Robert Thebe had the Myshuno Barony, but he left only two daughters who married into other families, and House of Thebe has now expired. One daughter is currently Duchess Ribra Lynn of Rossie, and the other married to Priest Dipperwell of the Church of Similius. Ribra Lynn's oldest son will soon get Myshuno Barony, meaning the House of Ross will establish also in San Myshuno. It is not yet known whether Rainert Ross (24) will keep elements of his grandfather's Coat of Arms, but he will most likely reside at Fountainbleu Penthouse at Arts Quarter. He might even decide to change his last name in order to diverse from House of Ross, who is based in Rossie. Focus on these details are expected next year.
Myshuno District Order is dormant while the Myshuno Barony awaits the new baron to reach 25 years, which is the earliest age for coronation. Good news is that the waiting will be over in just 1 year - but no major events this year. This year it's 75 years since the order was founded, such a pity the anniversary will go unnoticed.
This Spring Duke Aquess celebrates his 80th birthday with a reception at Chateau Cavalier.
Dominic Fyres is the current Lord of Deadgrass. He is also Lord von Dresden and von Haunt (Windenburg). Lord Deadgrass is Region 12's only Lord that is ranked high nobility, which is unique also in SimNation.
The Brindleton District Order annual gala dinner takes place at Chateau Cavalier in Spring. Duke Aquess de Cavalier is sovereign until his son is crowned this Winter.
Gloom District Order will host its annual gala dinner at Umbrage Manor in Spring.
This Fall will get busy for Baron Auphor and Baroness Morgan. They will both get involved with the Farmer's Festival in Fall. This year it's the 20th time the festival is arranged, and Oasis Springs is main host.
The Verde District Order annual gala dinner that takes place in Fall at Yuma Height Palace.
The high nobility peerage, Crest Barony, expired some time ago. Currently House of Dipperwell is the highest ranked family, as they hold the Priest of Church of Similius, which ranked as high nobility barony. The Priest title is no real peerage though, and includes neither Old Crest, Crestville nor Rivercrest. Also the old Crest District Order expired long ago.
Priest Antonius Dipperwell works ar the Church of Similius, located in Gloomville. He can not choose not to attend any event. This year will be rather ordinary, except for Investiture Day in Winter, which sees the coronation of both the Duke de Cavalier and Baron of Gloom.
Duke Merlin will attend the Blizzard Night at Ancient Ruins in Spring. This is the first time he attends any event at the old ruins, where his noble ancestors resided up til the Blizzard Night 125 years ago.
In Winter the Windenburg District Order annual gala dinner will be arranged at the renovated Von Windenburg Estate.
In Summer Lord Robert turns 15, which is a major day for the House of Ross. Robert is the 2nd of 4 sons, and because his older brother, Rainert, is set to get the Myshuno Barony, this far no son was given the courtesy title Baron of Rossie, a title that is given to the child who will become the next Sovereign no later than on the 15th birthday. Technically Lord Rainert is still first in line of successors to the dukedom, but it was agreed that when day will come, he will pass the dukedom to his brother Robert. Rainert may of course change his mind, but no matter who will get the dukedom, it probably won't happen in several decades. Robert getting the Baron title on his 15th birthday seals the expectation of him as the future Duke.
The annual Rossie District Order gala dinner takes place as usual at Rossie Palace in Fall.
