Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

It's Pride Week in San Myshuno

(San Myshuno, Year 227) Well, there is probably a lot of pride buzz all over the city, not the least at Arts Quarter and Fashion District, but my focus the past days has been the small karaoke bar at Spice Market. It's one of the old build that used to offer lodging and food to farmers and salesmen who travelled far to sell their produce at the market nearby.

The Waterside Warble recently got new renters, and they wanted to reintroduce the restaurant. As the Warble have become popular with the gay community, they were generously included with the new club concept.

The lot has been categorized Restaurant, but the bar is still served and two of the three karaoke booths were kept untouched. The outdoor seating will get expanded on demand, but as this is currently a heavily polluted hood, most guests are expected to stay indoor. There is also some odor and noise from the recycling station on the lot.

There are only three small tables, and I wanted table cloths but they were CC causing serious problems with the restaurant tag. Good thing is that details are expected to adjust over time. These pictures don't show all details, as there are also several small comfortable sofas and armchairs.

Waterside Warble is still serving just anyone, the rainbow button that the waitress wears is just one of many. But a few details might appeal more to the gay community.

Like the male Host hinting that the place is very open minded. He wears a long dress, and he is member of a drag group doing a show Weekends.

There's no dress code though, and nobody will be not admitted, unless the place is packed - mostly weekends.

The stage is tiny, with no room for props except from perfume, high heels and a glass of champagne. Weekdays there are open mic sessions, and occasionally there will even be a karaoke machine on stage. You see the entrance to the stage on the left.

Here is one of the regulars, Darling Walsh. She founded the club Friends of the Rainbow which has Waterside Warble as their hang out. The club is intended for young gays who need somewhere to meet. They are still very few members, but everything has a beginning, right?

I did not expect NPCs to use the karaoke booths after re-categorizing the lot, but yet - they have been used several times by not controlled guests. They normally sing only one song, but it adds to the atmosphere. Those looking for singing contests might need to go to Fashion District, though.

Ah - I nearly forgot - the toilet facilities were moved down to the basement. Just a very tiny room with one unisex booth and those wall mounted  things for the guys (they are CC, I have not checked whether also the girls will use them).

Well, that's all for now. A small contribution to the city, but hopefully a fun place to visit, especially for the teens and fresh young adults.
