(Year 227) There's sims romancing in my Region 12, some by free will and others are forced. I tend to allow young adults stay single for way too long. I might push the nobility a little, while commoners are often left to their own.
The Pleasant sisters are found in the latter group :) I kept both Angela (37) and Lilith (37) when University became an option, and for a start they both studied. Angela being the clever one, while Lilith focused more on nagging her sister. They shared a rented townhouse at Gibbs Hill in Britechester/Rossie, but now they've split. And none of them ever got their degree ...
Btw: Shortly after the sisters moved to Britechester, their parents sold their next-to-perfect home in Pleasantview and moved to a cottage in Henford-on-Bagley, where they plan to spend their retirement years.
Angela (37) met
Roger Oswald (41), a Scientist residing at Dusty Turf in Oasis Springs. He owns the little house and is actually quite successful and has a good reputation, but not a lot of money. His elderly parents are live-in Servants at Yuma Height - that's the seat of the Baron of Verde. They are highly respected and very close to the noble family.
Well, Roger proposed to Angela, and they got married.
They had their wedding photo taken, but Lilith refused to attend their wedding. I'm not sure if there was a cold phase in their relationship or what - Angela had to travel to Gibbs Hill to give her sister a copy of the wedding photo.
Angela and Roger had no kids yet. I can tell Roger is a bit more interested in establishing a nice little family than his wife is, but there should be kids eventually. They have one spare bedroom, so they won't need to move unless they get triplets on first try.
But when will they fill that bedroom? The longing Roger realized that Angela is way to busy with her knitting.
- Wife, wanna woohoo now?
- Sure, just give me twenty minutes, dear, I just messed up a little here...!
Meanwhile Lilith Pleasant might have found herself a new boyfriend!
It's hard to tell what she is aiming for. Impressive outfits is obviously not one of those goals.
George Cahill (76) is much older than Lilith, and she might be more interested in fooling around than to actually tie the knot. However, maybe she planned something when learning that George owns a plane! She might have misunderstood and thought that if she marries him, she might soon inherit a large airlines company?
I had no idea George is such a woman lover! He seemed to be poking Lilith's chest constantly.
Well, to make the story short - Lilith might have a baby child before her sister Angela. Will she finally make her parents Daniel and Mary-Sue in Henford-on-Bagley proud?
Others are romancing as well...
At the rustic quarter Muggerdale in Gloomville lives the poor
Raven family. The twins Frits and Elma (33) recently grew up, and Elma just got herself a boyfriend, Sergio Morck (37) from Nookstone in Oasis Springs. Amy works part time at a fast food restaurant while Sergio tries making a living from Herbalism. He still lives in a trailer with his elderly parents Sissela Morck and
Johnny Zest.
How awkward is it not to share your first kiss while your girlfriend's father suddenly opens the door and walks right into your kiss?
Nearby was a young handsome man observed on the swing at Mugger Fair...
Lord Rainert Ross of Rossie (25) was not dating. In fact I'm not sure why he travelled to a filthy hood like Muggerdale in the first place. The traditional fair celebrates 100 years these days, but Rainert has no connection to Muggerdale or Gloomville whatsoever. He will become the next Baron of Myshuno. His investiture will be this Winter. These days he moves from Henford-on-Bagley (Rossie) to Fountainview Penthouse in Arts Quarter of San Myshuno. His mother, the Duchess of Rossie, grew up in that penthouse, and Rainert is the only obvious heir to his mother's late father's barony.
Rainert should soon start dating. He can't marry quite yet, but unless he will leave it to his parents to find him a decent spouse, he should start exploring those fields. Did he meet a local girl in Henford-on-Bagley? Or how about Lady Corva of Meadows? He hopes it will be someone his own age, and not some older widowed lady...
