Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

Sims Sessions Music Festival - picture thread

(Year 227 Gloomville - Click pictures for a better view) The festival Sims Sessions featuring Joy Oladokun, Glass Animals and Bebe Rexha, might be the event of the year in Gloomville (aka Willow Creek), so the group of 6 students staying at Mossy Lane Dorm in Britechester took no chances - they had to be there!

There was another reason for me selecting this group though; as visiting sims will have festival gear replacing the top in one of their outfits, why not send a group of students - they will have their outfits adjusted at graduating from University, anyway :)

So, off we go to Gloomville! The festival is near the river, and although I found a spot where I expected it to be, it turned out I was wrong. This area is obviously larger than I thought. Festival starts at 12 PM and lasts until midnight, on Sundays only and for a limited RL time frame.

Blossom Park was renamed Gloom Garden centuries ago, as Church of Similius has their regional church there. The festival takes place off that lot though, but I assume Priest Dipperwell could hear the loud music in the distance. Lizzy Rab-Saxor (pink coat) was excited, but will soon enough realize that she had over dressed on this hot  day. Paula Mox, who grew up here in Gloomville, was very enthusiastic. Lord Leon de Cavalier was thrilled that he  brought his top notch camera - and he had a plan! Rohan Elderberry was a bit skeptic to the entire festival - he is a Loner and will not enjoy the crowd. Micka Kessler looked underwhelmed  by the stage, that might be because she grew up in San Myshuno and is used to bigger festivals.

Finally, first term student Wolfgang Munch, who tried to be too cool for the event, suddenly screamed! He had not spotted any of the three artists, but Baroness Morgan of Verde wearing a festival tee! She gave him a nod and a smile as she walked by, they both grew up at Dresden in Windenburg.

Lord Leon bought himself a festival tee, I think it randomly turned out to be white, which actially is his favorite color!

Rohan inspected the sales stand, wondering if he could sell canned jam at the future festivals? One day he will inherit Yummy Jam, Inc. which is a family company producing - well, elderberry jam. That's the official reason he wants a University degree, but being Academic helps, too.

So, the festival program starts! First artist is Joy Oladokun. The crowd flocks to the stage and most of them go pretty wild. Leon takes a few pictures, more about his project end of this article.

Joy Oladokun did very well, they all loved her! What a pity she performed one song, only.

After a short break the next artist entered stage. Glass Animals got the big cheers, and the day was suddenly becoming an evening.

I believe this was the favorite of Paula, Wolfgang and Eva (Capricciosa) Bootwig, the latter is now a local, waving both her arms back there. Glass Animals signed out with a kiss.

It got darker and while they waited for the top name of the program, they had some fast food to eat and scrolled the booth for festival gear. I was expecting to find a festival poster there, but found nothing related to the festival but the t-shirts.

Then superstar Bebe Rexha was suddenly right there on stage and the crowd rushed over to her and went totally wild again! In the dark night hours the stage looked even better, and the light set up had adjusted a bit.

After performing her show and embraced her audience with several greetings, Bebe Rexha happily left stage.

Everyone who attended Sims Sessions had a great day and they all left the area with a grin on their face. Great music from superstars never seen in Gloomville before, good festival memories - and Lord Leon with his camera filled with great photos. He studies Drama and his first priority is to become a great Actor, but he might also build a career from photographing superstars. He plans to offer a festival exhibition to either Casbah Gallery in San Myshuno, or even the Municipal Muses museum right here in Gloomville!
