Welcome! :) On this blog you will find stories, how i play and videos created with The Sims 4, but also a few projects from older game versions can be found in the Archive. The old TS3 stories have their own blogs. Most long going stories have a main page with index of updates.

Check out Simmerville's Youtube channel!

I'm no longer on Tumblr! I refused to give all their 3rd parties unlimited access to my computer. Link still works, but no updates.

New Feature: Mazaloom History Book

(Year 229) With a geeky focus on my sims community ever since real life year 2014, and a more or less steady eye on the historical aspects including a growing population, a History Book was needed! So, here it is!

It's funny to look back. In the beginning I decided to focus only on Gloomville (aka Willow Creek), then politics became more important and there had to be a region - give Region 12. So, then I realized there had to be Nobility, and lastly - what is nobility without Royalty? With the State of Mazaloom came The People Chamber which finally made more sense to the existing 5 years elections, but it also requires a little bit of knowledge regarding 7 more regions...

Region 12 is currently the biggest part of Mazaloom kingdom, and politics suggest that a regional reform is due, to make for a more fair election. High Schools, stock companies, organizations and political parties is nothing new to my mix, and with 400+ played individuals there ought to be a wide specter of interests.

Mila T. Munch, Historical Society.
The Historical Society did an amazing job helping with the new History Book! Major events are sorted by year count and this goes all the way back to Year 1, giving a total of 229 years! The first 50 years is referred to as the Medieval era, and the Modern era did start with the Year 120 Constitution. This all sound a bit overwhelming, Mila Munch?

- The History Book can be viewed in so many ways! You can choose to see all posts, or select either one of the five departments - we added Royalty & Peerages as a new option, or one of the 8 regions for a more geographical selection. All post will appear under minimum one of the departments, but many posts will appear in additional selections, too.

Regarding nobility only the Peers of real peerages are listed, not those with just a noble title and little more to it. The exception is when a widow or other person represents a young heir. Peers are dated to the year when they had their investiture. So if your father died in Year 161, you will be listed as a Peer the year after, although you practically became the next Peer the very second the old man died.

- In the future famous person will get listed the year they died - but only if they at some point in life reached minimum fame level 3. This does not include duchesses, who gain level 3 but only through marriage. They will need to climb one level to get listed in the History Book.

Some persons are listed several times, we'll look into that in the future, but normally they gained several peerages in different years. I've tried to restrict the personal info, and rather add a link to their already existing BIO pages.

The project still feels very new, and some facts were not yet added. This will be done during Summer.

Mazaloom History Book is linked from the main menu of the Community Pages (under Culture & Entertainment).
