(Year 230, Spring) Antoinette Morck is here again with some gossip! 1st day of Spring is Election Day, but let's take a break from all Politicians and rather focus on the rich and famous - for other reasons than begging for our votes!
- I dressed up a bit, because I promised you a Del Sol Valley special, and here we are in the very heart of our kingdom, and the central stage of the entertaining industry: Del Sol Valley! I've dug up some not yet confirmed rumors, as well as a few fresh press releases that did not yet reach the press!
We're starting at Mirage Park, once a small quarter in the shadows, but lately home to two very posh high schools! I'm talking about The Showbiz Academy (orange build), where Principal Judith Ward educates our future megastars. And the Butler Academy (grey build), which was founded 100 years ago at Arts Quarter in San Myshuno, but moved here about 20 years ago when the owner bought and renovated an old shoe lace factory. Right, this used to be a Workers hood, with some hopeful young dreamers seeking showbiz, but mostly plain poor workers. That is, aspiring actors need a job, too, they can't all serve at the next door restaurant or café.
I just found that Orange Bailey-Moon (18), son of Thorne Bailey and Octavia Moon, will study at The Showbiz Academy come next year. At the Butler Academy we find Lady Corva Saxor (24), daughter of Duke Victus and Duchess Gloria of Meadows. It's quite normal that children of nobility study here - although not facing a future as Servant, they will benefit from knowledge regarding gourmet food and nectars, when they mingle with Aristocracy or run their own estate with Servants. It's actually an acclaimed education in those higher circles, especially for daughters. The youngest ladies might even work as Servants (mostly Governess or Cook) until they get married, but did you know that they will never serve a house below their own rank? Perhaps this is their way to find a future husband - the Governess having an affair with the House's main heir?
The Walk of Diamonds at Starlight Boulevard is like a magnet to tourists and autograph hunters. You will easily run into a superstar, and frankly, I should hang out here more! It's been quite ever since we saw a new diamond being placed by Octavia Moon, I think. It's easy to tell she is popular and respected, because her stone was never vandalized, not once! By the way, did you know that Octavia Moon (49) descends from the old House of Moon that held the minor Lord Deadgrass peerage of Brindleton Bay long ago? Their House was founded in or about Year 50 to serve the old light house, and they were close to the King as late as the Great Revolution in Year 118. Their House died out long ago, so there is probably nothing left. And from I heard, they were not as wealthy as Octavia is these days, anyway. Go girl, you made it better than your old House!
The Plumbob Pictures Museum was quite popular back in the days. It might still attract a few tourists, but locals never go there. I heard there were some plans of down scaling the museum to give room for a top notch classy restaurant, but I could not find it confirmed. I wonder how much fame I would need to get access?
I heard that Judith Ward claimed to join the committee, and that she suggested to turn the place into a Ward Museum, but I hope she won't get through with that. I'd much prefer a restaurant over Judith's old costumes and movie posters!
Talking about Judith Ward (66), I can reveal that just before Winter she returned from a privat clinic in Windenburg where she gave birth to twins! Unfortunately only one baby boy survived. Let's hope Judith and her fresh (and much older) husband, Don (86), will quickly recover. I don't think she will need long to get over the loss of a baby, after all she never appeared to me as a caring mother wanting more children than strictly needed for her House of Ward, but I don't know about her hubby...

By the way, I guess Don will have his hands full, because Judith is busy most of this year with two new film productions where she will play the lead: «Killing my shadow», about a wounded woman who becomes famous and adored by everyone (written by Judith herself), and «Best Friend Forever» about a rich woman and her precious diamond ring. Both to premiere later this year!
Finally, we need some royal news, too! We heard that TRH King Tarriot and Queen Venezia visited the King's half sister Amalia Ellice L-H. Hoffstar (29), who moved to reside at Villa Vigna in Tartosa. The villa is royal property, and she was granted to stay there temporarily, until one of the King's children will need the place. Amalia Ellice is not a member of the royal House of Luxe-Hamper, neither was she ever bestowed a Princess title. And, I heard she actually failed in Summerfield High, graduating poorly with B.
Because the King's visit was private I have not yet found anything confirmed, but rumors have it that Amalia Ellice had treated the little worker family badly (they stay at Villa Vigna to produce nectar on behalf of King Tarriot). If rumors are right, the young woman threw them out of the villa, and while she now resides two floors alone, the family of four were forced to move into the garden shed where they make the nectar!
Someone needs to find out more, for sure!

We all knew that she was a handful to the governesses when growing up, constantly angry and demanding more attention than she deserved. King Tarriot did previously hint to plans of giving Amalia Ellice a peerage as soon as she can found her own House (which can't happen technically before she has her first legit child) - will he now drop that idea?
Prince Bazillimus (17) is currently a student at Summerfield High boarding school in Windenburg. This Winter he was seen goofing about outdoors with another student, Cornelius Dougham (19), who is son of Corinne Dougham Mester Crestville. Rumors have it that Corinne Dougham is hoping for nothing less than an alliance (not to say romance!) with the Crown Princess!
It's a known fact that the youngest Prince Marcuz (15) will not attend any boarding school, but he will insead study at the common Rossie High while staying at Chateau Peak. He is very interested in sports, and I'm curious to find out whether he will be allowed to focus on sports instead of a good education and career? Being only 4th in line of successors to the throne, he might be excused.

Elsewhere in Mazaloom a name to keep in mind is Chaos Kessler (36), a young aspiring Actor who actually got a few good gigs already. He was also a core group member of the MIDDLE party previously. He resides a city flat with his old father, Psychologist Salvador Kessler, who was seen in the As Sims Go By show years ago, but never aimed for fame. However, Chaos has been predicted a good career!

Guess I promised a few pictures from the tailor store Gobelin Fashion at Fashion District, San Myshuno? Well, here is manager Chetta Ritz (62) serving a couple customers. We notice they also sell the recently released photo of HRH Crown Princess Emireza, right there on the front counter!
The store is owned by Gobelin Fashion, Inc., which had its base in Windenburg, but the biggest owner currently resides in Newcrest. It was always owned by House of Gobelin, and serves mainly top society.

In San Myshuno's Uptown, celebrity Diego Lobo (50) has kept his little family secret. Now he shared a photo of himself reading to a toddler, as part of a new art project. It was not confirmed, but sources close to Lobo suggest the toddler is actually Diego's own child! I'll try to dig up more for the next Gossips issue!
