So, the trailer for the next The Sims 4 Expansion Pack is here! And this will definitely be a pack with features involving all life stages: Generations!
I wanted to check out the new world San Sequoia, but the trailer hardly shows anything from the world, so we might get a look at this later.
Added this world picture that was not included in the trailer, but was found elsewhere.
For now, I took some screenies from the trailer to highlight what I see as exciting new features. Note that the trailer is more a teaser tha a full ep gameplay traiiler, I assume we did not yet see all there is :) Pack will release March 16th.
There looks to be a new baby shower event.
From the pack description: Sims will now have preferences that determine which Sims they are socially compatible with, and which Sims are more likely to become their enemies.
A new changing table for infants, wonder if they can be used with toddlers as well? Back right is what looks like a new crib.
Several nice new play objects for infants. I like that adults (and probably others as well) can interact.
There seems to be a small round mat where the infant can stay. I might prevent it from crawling away without looking like a prison :)
Infants can be carried on the back, so even if we probably won't get a stroller, infants should be quite mobile.
Children can learn to ride a bike! And grown ups can actively teach them!
And they can obviously impress their grandparents, too. I wonder if this will now be a new skill?
From the pack description: As sims experience life together there will be opportunities for both drama and unity that will affect family dynamics and Sims’ relationships with their family members.
Pillow fights was introduced witrh Highschool Years, but is now also a thing for kids. Aaand, we get sleeping bags!
Loosing a tooth seems like a rather big life event!
Nothing about a Dentist so far, though... But we get new games, like a puzzle!
And I thin the wall object to the right with drawings on might be new.
The tree house is back, but this time the entire family can assist building it! I wonder what can be modified, or if they all will look the same. Looks fun!
Grandparents seem to visit to greet their new grandchild. It might be just a set up for the trailer, but they bring a suitcase...
The suitcase is opened in the background (right), is it a record player?
Was it a gift, and if so, can the infant or toddler interact with it? A booby dancing thing, perhaps?
EDIT: The "suitcase" must be the new Keepsake Box, which contains some family treasures and memories.
