(Year 231, Spring) Welcome to another gossips edition! This time some fresh Spring gossips, right before we get to this year's Social Season! I'm Antoinette Morck, milk farmer from Henford-on-Bagley, but many years as a city resident brought me pretty close to the celebrities cauldron, *shrug*. This is my 9th edition - hey, someone must have gotten those numbers wrong? It feels like I just got started!
I'm so glad that Region 8 Advorton, including Chestnut Ridge, seems to get more into publicity. I'll be looking out for regional gossips, hopefully there will be some in my next edition. Today I must warn you there will be very little nobility gossips. I simply had to mash together news from so many other instances, there was no room for nobility!
But we have a few exceptions, the first takes us to Brindleton Bay:
Last weekend there was a grand double birthday party at Chateau Cavalier! Duke Charlopold and Duchess Luna both celebrated 40 years! The event was said to not be planned, but it turns out they went gala anyway, with just the closest friends and family invited. Among the guests were Luna's old father, Duke Merlin von Windenburg and his wife, Duchess Mandy. Charlopold's mother, Old-Duchess Claudine was of course there, as were his siblings Lady Merielle, with husband The Honorable Edward from the Gloom barony, and Lord Leon.
Duchess Luna did obviously receive the Cavalier family order - the little purple silk bow near her shoulder. And she was wearing the stunning Pink Clam parure, which is said to hold a link to the merfolks outside of Brindleton! It was commissioned by Charlopold's grandmother, Duchess Mera, back in the days.
We also notice that Duchess Luna is *not* wearing the Brindleton District Order's pale purple sash, how come? Well, tradition is that wives get knighted for these orders as result of giving birth to an heir. Knighthoods are restricted in numbers and they are life long, so it would be meaningless to knight someone of less future importance. As soon as there is an heir, a wife will be seen as an official heir support, in case something should happen to the leader of the order while the heir is too young to be in charge. Their firstborn, Lady Cloudetta (1), can not inherit the dukedom nor the order, so Luna will have to wait a bit longer. Or - wait, is that dress trying to hide a growing belly? Hard to tell, indeed!
Now, over to Gloomville!
Just a few days ago we saw that TV-stars Khloe Adrian (26) and Fritz Mervil (39) celebrated at restaurant Blue Captain at Gloomville's commercial area. It turned out they had married secretly, to everyone's surprise. So, a photographer decided to offer them a similar return treat, by photographing them secretly!
He sent me the above picture taken through their kitchen window, at their new residence, the Grossing House in Gloomville. Any sign of expecting a first child already? Nope, it's actually just a boring picture of a couple having their breakfast...
How about Moonwood Mill?
Teens have been reporting weird stuff to take place at Moonwood Mill recently, but this time it was a group of adult members of a bears club sending me the following report:
«We got seated in the bar at their community center, when the bartender suddenly got a red glowing! It all happened so fast, we bears left our beers in a hurry, and ran off as fast as we could!»
Well, be advised there; weird stuff is not happening only in the woods, but also at the bar! As if... :)
Next up I got you some city news!
Our red haired President Rob Wilder (70) is no longer a red head... but more like a grey head.
President Wilder posted this photo on his Simstagram yesterday, showing him eating a big chocolate cake. The day was celebrated at home with family, at San Myshuno's fancy Uptown hood.
So many residents are turning grey these days. Not only the President, but also our Vice President Silverbone.
Also Businessman and former Politician, Edvin Phlum (71), celebrated his birthday. He was observed in a very flirty mood with his wife, Dr. Lucille C. Phlum (69) at Waterside Warble, Spice Market.
The couple is obviously still very close, both pushing elders, and did not seem to bother with the looks from strangers.
They got seated outdoors, but the reporter says nothing about what they ate. Their two children, John and Valeria, just grew up and are both expected to leave home shortly. Perhaps Edvin and Lucille enjoy finally getting the kids out of the house?

At Hotel Oceana in Tartosa, there are a couple businesses, including a bookstore, run by the Publisher, Caribooks, Inc.
This week Caribooks announced that local Author Victor Fabe Altham (50), Baron de Aarby has signed with them to publish his debut novel, «Set sail. Waves of love.». It is quite an event, because despite being the beloved home to many creative persons, it's the first time in 38 years that a local signs with such a big Publisher.
Victor, who seems to be even better known under the name Fabe, grew up in Chestnut Ridge and moved to rent a small house in Tartosa few years ago. The Count Chander of Advorton (residing Chestnut Ridge's largest ranch) is Fabe's cousin.
While Tartosa is in Region 3 Tredony and Chestnut Ridge is in Region 7 Advorton, we're now jumping to Glimmerbrook in Region 8 Ticktop!
This year the tranquil district Glimmerbrook celebrated that it's been 80 years since their Brook Herbarium was built.
Count Helfert of Ticktop (47) and wife Countess Elisabeth (52) hosted the small event. Nobody can accuse them for trying to drag tourists to their place (this local jewel is rarely advertised anywhere), but the herbarium has already proven quite popular with visitors, anyway. Because there is no hotel in Glimmerbrook (there is said to be one in Tickertown, but tourists simply have problems accessing that town...), the few tourists normally stop for just one day, or they will need to stay at the local camp ground, Glimmer Escape. The herbarium has recently opened for simple wedding ceremonies for very small groups, in its beautiful surroundings.
Countess Elisabeth is the one tending the plants of the herbarium, so she said a few words at this quick anniversary event, while Count Helfert has never shown the same enthusiasm. This place is owned by the Tickerton Trust, so the Count is sort of the formal owner...
More from some unidentified location in TickTop (this might be from Tickertown?). Duchess Prudence de Aarbyville was busy signing autographs. Someone sent me these two photos, but with no comment on what she was actually doing there.
Then there was obviously some accident involving some table decor catching fire?

Now, let's close this 9th edition up with a few random gossips and facts:
In today's Mixed section I can reveal that Lord Vincent de Croismare (44), recently guesting the Simmerville Show (5), will contend at the upcoming «Chestnut Grand Equestrian Ridge», which has become a tradition. He enters in the discipline Western Pleasure, which is said to be his favorite.
It is the 6th time this competition is arranged, and Lord Vincent never participated before. He is still single and is 2nd in line to the Aarbyville dukedom, which is currently lacking heirs...

Finally - popular Singer-songwriter, Suzi «Sushi» Stench posted the following picture on her Simstagram account:
Suzi Stench (41) married HH Prince Ace (54) last year, and their little son, Bram, was born early this year. There is no information regarding whether little Bram will be a titled Prince, like his father, but because he is not a member of the royal family, I doubt so. Eventually he will inherit the low nobility title Baron de Portefino. The small family resides at Mirage Park in Del Sol Valley.
