Lady Corva Saxor graduated

(Year 231, Fall) This Summer Lady Corva Saxor (25) graduated from the Butler Academy, and with top grades she secured herself a spot on the high school's new wall of fame!

You might wonder how a daughter of the Duke of Meadows could end up at a school like the Butler Academy? Well, it is not as weird as it sounds. Many children from the top aristocracy do actually study here. It may not be their top ambition in life to become a Butler or other Servant, although that would secure them a position in a better residence, but these finer families are actually expected to serve aristocracy. If you are not the main heir of your House, well - then you were raised to accept being the child that will be married off to another House, serving Military or joining a Monastery. Or - serving a higher ranked House than the one that raised you. This is why most families of aristocracy are expected to provide minimum 3 kids. So, just where does Lady Corva fit the bill?

She happens to be the only child of Duke Victus and Duchess Gloria of Meadows (southern half of San Myshuno). Oldest daughter can indeed become Head of the House, but as she can not inherit her father's dukedom it's unlikely that she will ever lead the House. This means that Lady Corva's future is a bit uncertain, but the good thing is that her father is still young enough to reign for a couple decades to come. If she marry wisely and has a son while her father is still around, the son might become the next Duke. Lady Corva simply chose the Butler Academy to prepare herself for a future in a high nobility household, as the wife, assumingly, wherever that will be.

Butler Academy is located at Mirage Park in Del Sol Valley, and it is a boarding school. It has been Corva's home for 4 years now. All students must learn Cooking and Handiness, and Corva chose Piano as her elective class. They have learned the basics of serving at a gala dinner, nectars, parenting and more - which is all good knowledge also for a future lady of the House.

At graduation, Lady Corva posed with the school's Principal, Abraham Golden. She was handed a diploma and a copy of the photo.

Lady Corva will now return to her parents in San Myshuno, to celebrate her Young Adult birthday. No possible engagement has been announced yet, but gossip makes have since long linked her to Baron Rainert of Myshuno.

The students wear a school uniform at classes, but are free to leave the hood Weekends. There are also a few excursions during the school year. Not sure where the group had been on the above picture.
