(Year 232, Fall) Earlier this year the popular hot spot at Starlight Boulevard in Del Sol Valley was sold. Celebrities and fans alike have flocked to the lounge Orchid A Go Go for years, and perhaps a new ownership sounds scary to the regulars? Well, fear not, because the hot spot won't change ... a lot, uhm... not quite yet!

And who is the new owner? It's the global star Octavia Moon! She has not frequented Go-go Orchid as much as her husband and also a global star, Thorne Bailey, but she qualifies as a true insider anyway. She knows what the place offers and why it is so popular. And now she wants to add more!
- The lounge was purchased this Summer, not by me privately, but by my new publisher company, Moon Books, Inc. Some finances still needs to be discussed, so there won't be any major changes quite yet.
The lounge has been a hotspot for celebrities ever since the opening in Year 183. |
- No. Documents were signed by all parties. I'm referring to details within my new company, I own only 60% so a few meetings must take place before the bigger changes gets our Go-go!
Bigger changes? The lounge will not continue as before...?
- Well, Moon Books, Inc. is a publisher company, so the new features will relate to writing and reading. This place will become much more of what it used to be. In addition to the stage and bar area, there will be a mix of facilities including a book store, library, meet and greet area, readings and speeches, perhaps a meeting room, and a few offices for my company and for authors to rent.

Are we getting 75% office and 25% lounge?
- No. You will be getting a culture house with much more variety than today! Some will favor books, but most of those areas can also be used for other cultural forms. And, to answer your question, my plan is to add a new floor, so the office section will not come at the cost of what you see today. It might be in the basement or the building will become one floor taller - if possible. I will need to direct a request to the Region 3 administration.
And we can't wait! When can we expect some changes?
- Next year! In Year 233 it will be 50 years since Orchid A Go Go opened. We'll celebrate the anniversary with this makeover!
